Visiting this beautiful region of Provence in early July was made extra special when we stayed with our BnB hosts Valerie and Laurent for one week. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room and surroundings were immaculate, the delicious breakfast was presented in typical French style with home baking, summer fruits, yoghurt and patisserie. As temperatures soared we enjoyed relaxing... More

The Mas de l'ile is down a small lane in the centre of the island yet a three minute drive from the free ferry to the famous bridge and the entrance to the walled city and pope's palace which goes every 15 minutes or a slightly longer cycle ride on the bicycles that the owner can supply. The rooms are... More

This B&B ranked at the top among B&Bs where we stayed on this three week trip in France. It is located in a secluded property on the Isle of Barthelasse in the Rhone River. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The swimming pool, tables and chairs for lounging, and the wonderful vine covered canopy where breakfast was served all... More

Valerie was a warm, welcoming hostess. Her house was beautiful and the locationn was perfect - a short stroll to the free ferry which took us across the river to the stunning city of Avignon. The best of both worlds! Our room (lavender) was perfect with its own terrace, overlooking the pool. Breakfasts were wonderful with homemade jams and cakes... More

Le Mas de L'ile is a gorgeous b&b on Isle de la Barthelasse (a short 5min drive from Avignon centre). The rooms are very comfortable with a lovely terrace - and the pool area is just beautiful. There is also a communal fridge in the pool area where you can store your own drinks/food so you can relax by the... More

We were welcomed right away by Valerie who showed us around her beautiful property and to our room. Being on a quiet island outside of Avignon made our stay very special. We especially enjoyed breakfast every in a shaded gazebo covered with beautiful vines, We also received a lot of good information about the area. I cannot think of a... More

This B&B is absolutely charming!!! I stayed in the Lily Room and my friends in the Poppy room. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. It was a place for complete relaxation after long days of sightseeing. The breakfasts and conversation with the owner, Valerie, were delightful. I can't imagine a better place to have stayed.

After having driven 300km to Le Mas de l'ile, Valérie was there to give us a warm and friendly welcome as we alighted from the car. We felt immediately at home in the tranquil setting. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and gave us the impression they had just been freshly renovated and this at the end of the season!... More

On short notice my wife and I were fortunate to secure the one room that was available at this B&B and, although we stayed only one night, everything about the experience was enjoyable. It is a nice home in a bucolic setting with spacious, well-maintained grounds, a beautiful pool and parking on-site. Our room (Sunflowers) was a good size for... More

Gorgeous setting, beautiful immaculate, nicely decorated room and lovely hostess offering a very nice breakfast. If in Avignon area would definitely stay again. Just over the bridge from the city center, worth the very little effort to have onsite parking and perfect tranquility. Summer would allow you to take advantage of the resort like setting and beautiful pool yard.
