We booked in here en route back through France one evening and via an iPhone so had limited knowledge before actually booking rooms although the photos we did see gave an altogether more glamorous impression than the reality on arrival. This was and could be a beautiful spot but has been allowed to crumble a bit around the edges and... More

Negatives:There were two large alsatian dogs that roamed the house downstairs so the whole area downstairs smelled of wet dog, and we were pestered by the dog when we were trying to enjoy some bread and cheese in the garden. The room was way on top floor up narrow stairs which was difficult with suitcases, the room was very hot,... More

Hard to find. Not walking distance to anything. I hear the crow yelling. Nice air. Almost 19th century like. I don't think they have a bar. Rustic living perhaps in authentic Provence style. One could really relax here if that is all you wanted to do. No night life possible without driving. Driving here keep your eyes open as you... More

Overpriced for the area and for the style. The rooms are confortable, but a renovation in fornitures could make it much better: you have the feeling of entering La Maison du Monde more than a provencal Mas. The breakfast is good but should be included in the price, else it makes the offer overpriced. Pool in big but also lacking... More

We were looking for a hotel with lots of charm and a pool and found Mas de la Chapelle via internet searches; we stayed two nights, and will definitely return. This property has great character, beautiful grounds, a large swimming pool in deep blue mosaic, and is located 7 mn from Arles old city center. There are several categories of... More

I couldn't help but to run around like a kid when we first arrived in the dark to discover all hidden corners of the grounds whilst marvelling at the smells of jasmin, the beautiful gardens with its choir of frogs, and then the buildings!!! Packed with character, beautiful decoration, and history. Just the place for us... I liked that parts... More

A little out of the way but worth it. It feels like you have stepped into a dream world when you enter the grounds - which used to be an old Knights of Malta priory. It feels like a Roman villa with wonderful fountains, wildflowers, tropical plants and flowers. The rooms are spacious and have themes that evoke romance. Antiques... More

Here is one of the most unusual and unique Bed and Breakfasts You will ever visit in Your life! This historic estate, complete with a high ceiling chapel was once used by the Knights Templar in the days of the Crusades. The proprietor, Domenic, has restored the residence and the extensive grounds to a magnificence above and beyond Your greatest... More

We pre-booked for 4 nights, just off-season with the intent of relaxing for a while. Although the first attempt to find the place was, shall we say adventurous (incorrect sign-posting), afer a few words with the proprietors, the way in and out was easy. The rooms are indeed spacious - we had the de-luxe room, with a separate living area... More

We stayed there two nights. The hotel is located on a little road that is not easy to find. The room was spacious with a big bed, clean but, for our taste, had too many antiques. The hotel is filled with many antiques. The bathroom was relatively big with and older tube, the shower curtain rod kept falling off. the... More
