If you are coming by car, call the hotel a half hour before arriving. Streets were designed for goats. But they are so charming, and are so huddled near the hotel that you'll be glad to ditch the car and walk through the city, much from the Roman Empire. Inside a high wall and a massive street door, the hotel... More

This discovery is where we'll Keep coming back. Regardless of the stunning, perfectly maintained property this Hotel is run by an outstanding host. Everything is possible attitude, a proper conciergerie in place, always ensuring clients are at the center. We stayed in 3 rooms, each one is tasteful, well-equipped and unique to this place. Perfect for a stay, we will... More

Arles is beautiful, well worth seeing. My wife and I have mixed feeling on this hotel. First, it is a beautiful property in a central location in Arles. The staff there is very friendly. Although it is advertised as a 5 star property, we found gaps to what we have come to expect from similarly priced properties. To start, the... More

A beautiful, peaceful retreat in a quiet neighborhood of Arles, just 5 minute walk from the center of town. We loved this hotel. The garden had café tables out for breakfast (lovely small breakfast buffet) or afternoon tea. There is a small decorative pool with comfortable lounge chairs. We didn’t use it but a couple of other guests did while... More

As I'm wheelchair bound, this is a very personal review, but many points may be relevant to 'normal' guests. I'll write a further review with other issues pertinent to all. For now I'll start with the good: The building is beautiful: a bit of an oasis in a busy little town. Our rooms were lovely and spacious. Although, talking to... More

We spent one night at this quietly positioned hotel. The hotel comprises a walled compound embracing two old mansions and stables converted to hotel accommodation. The type and standard of room varies and I am advised that not two rooms are alike. Our room was what one might described as quirky, it was functional, rather than comfortable - a couple... More

i checked in early before 9 in the morning having come off a riverboat. Fully realised my room would not be ready and decided to explore. Michael took my mobile number to call me when my room was ready and sent me to he breakfast room for a complimentary pot of coffee armed with a city map. On my return... More

Well located in the heart of the old town - slightly difficult to find and hard to access by road - this is an old series of houses/town mansions with an internal garden providing pleasant environment and area for pool/dining/sitting etc. We arrived at midday and needed a snack. This was provided and quite good as 1 salad 1 pasta... More

Arles is a small, unassuming town and we had some fantastic service across the board whilst there. It's a real shame this hotel isn't on a par with the rest of the town. The hotel is pretentious in its approach, everything must be done on their terms as opposed to the guest's, examples of this are: telephoning you to come... More

This hotel is in central Arles and it's gardens are beautifully maintained and restful. The room we stayed in (above the restaurant at the back) was newly refurbished but smallish and the bathroom was idiosyncratic and small. Overall, the room was clean but too small for the price. The 'pool' is little more than a plunge pool. Parking was available... More
