Make sure you know where to go for parking prior to arrival as it is next to impossible to find this hotel if you are driving in Europe for the first time. Once we found our way to the hotel, we had a glorious time. The town of Arles is particularly charming and easy to walk in a day.

Just enjoyed 4 wonderful nights at Hotel Le Calendal. I traveled with my husband and teenage daughter and were put in a quad room with a double bed in one room and 2 twins in an adjoining room. It was very spacious. The location is perfect -- right across the street from the amphitheater and very near all of the...

Thank you to the friendly staff of the Le Calendal! We just got back from a trip there and had a lovely stay. Excellent restaurant, charming environment. Helpful staff. We stayed in room 46 and had a view of the Colliseum. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Very nice staff - someone came with us to the parking lot, which was very close on foot, but not obvious to get to by car. The room was nicely decorated and on the ground floor, so no dragging suitcases up stairs. The triple room is also a handicapped room and the bathroom was huge. The location can't be beat,...

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Arles train station (don't think I'd want to drive in Arles - the roads are mostly narrow and it didn't look like there was much public parking, though I recall seeing a lot near the Rhone), located just uphill from the Arena. From the front you can see both the...

We were only there for one night. We would love to come back and stay longer. They were so helpful. We could not find the hotel and the receptionist walked down to where we were and rode back to the hotel with us so she could direct us. The receptionist even went with us to show us where the parking...

Our room was close to what the pictures on the web site advertised. The room was clean and everything functioned well. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning in the courtyard and were very happy with the food quality and service. The hotel is right next to the arena and amphitheatre which was convienient. We arrived after dark the...

Arles, as well as Le Lavandou, was the surprise random selection for us on our europe holiday. An Hotel Le Calendal was excellent. Our room had its own courtyard, very spacious and was very clean. The hotel has its own spa room, which was fantastic. Picture lying back in a lappool looking out the window at the 40AD Roman theatre...

What a great little hotel. The front desk staff was exceptional. We arrived in a downpour on Saturday morning, with the GPS telling us to go down the street blocked by the open-air market. I phoned the hotel, and the front desk told me to go back to the market street and tell the man at the barrier that we...
