We stayed here 4 nights in April/May 2023. The rooms were pleasant, the location was good, and all the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay here again. We did not use the pool, but did try the onsite restaurant one night, and it was good. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and right next to the office of tourism.

Another Great stay in Arles at teh Jules Cesar now managed under MGallery. The design is really funtastic, the interior review by CHRISTIAN LACROIX is a great view of the arles antic, the rooms and bathroom has been renovated too. Breakfast served on buffet in a small room is a paradise. The only thing is about the restaurant, not attractive, too modern and I really feel they didn't have proper budget to finish it...it was a stared michelin restaurant, now just a moder place not really attractive. good stay

Nice historical building in perfect location. We appreciated the room space/deco although old style bathroom could certainly be improved. Fair amount of onsite facilities (gym, open air pool, garden, etc.) and great idea to use the long corridors as art galleries ! We particularly enjoyed the outside pool with our kids. Breakfast is good with a very friendly and pro service. Front desk very helpful and nice experience at the restaurant. The little gifts at departure or nice chocolates left in the rooms every evening were a very kind attention. Overall, we'd certainly repeat the experience if in Arles. Congrats to the entire staff !

A very nice place (I was lucky enough to get an upgrade) with a very friendly staff. The Christian Lacroix design sometimes seems outdated, but that's a matter of taste. I also received a few culinary surprises in the room, in particular delicious calisson d’aix!

The hotel is sited on an old nunnery, complete with cloisters so it is quite interesting from a design / novelty standpoint. Decorated with home boy Christian Lacroix’s furnishing, this is not a hotel for one who prefers understated luxury. Because of the original design of the building, rooms can be awkward sized / shaped. Location wise this is just outside the beautiful pedestrian segment of Arles and a stone’s throw away from some of the key sights. No on-site parking. Differing levels of service, depending on who happens to be on duty (one concierge asked me to walk to the post office to post my postcards - not quite 5*). Nevertheless would recommend, as location remains top class.

Location is superb, hotel is very interesting as it was converted from an old monastery. Swimming pool (warmed!) and the whole area around is absolutely awesome. Breakfast was superb, great choice and quality of products - really enjoyed it! Breakfast team was super friendly too. On a negative side: air conditioning never worked, it was terribly hot and humid in the room. It was also very noisy during Easter feeria - but we kind of knew that. Shower was not working properly, for sure not on 5* hotel level.

A very enjoyable single nights stay. The rooms are quiet and comfortable with good facilities. The staff are really helpful with valet parking on offer. The style is quite quirky with some modern decor making a point in style. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice of some very high quality brekkie items.

I was a guest at The Jules Cesar for 5 nights. The service was effective and friendly. Dining at The Lou Marques was a delicious experience every time. The filet AOP and the Oeuf a la Neige were perfect. Christian Lacroix's design throughout the hotel is a feast to be had. Take the time to walk slowly letting you transported into the Camargue a la Lacroix.

The rooms clearly show their age. The beds are not comfortable. And unless you book a suite, your room will be quite small. We stayed at this hotel 3 times but we won't book a fourth. As an Accor faithful member, the Jules Cesar is now disappointing, very disappointing. Even their restaurant went down in quality.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of town. Everything is practically just outside the door. The staff are very helpful. We had a great room too. The restaurant provided a good menu at reasonable price. Breakfast is good including regional specialities. There is a massive street market outside the hotel on a Saturday morning. Well worth a look around, but beware, if arriving by car, you cant get to the front of the hotel until the market has cleared up. The hotel staff will park your car for you and return when when needed.
