We thought we had got to the wrong area as this supposed 'chateau' was in an a full blown industrial estate, horrible area off the motorway - a gate hidden amongst the industrial units. A horrible basic room, dirty pool and chairs, run down gardens, even pots on terrace where clients had very very expensive dinner had dead plants in... More

A blunder to begin with caused by the booking website Agoda. I booked for 3 adults however the hotel had been unable to contact me given Agoda had not provided any contact details. Contacting Agoda was hopeless with their customer service - so we were stuck, with paid hotel room and could not get a refund nor could contact Agoda.... More

Beautiful Chateau; very practical, as it is near the Autoroute. The menu was great, the service just ok ..they did their best I guess, but you feel like one of many clients... ; I'm just comparing to so many other 1 star Michelin where you get better personalized and caring service ... However, like always we asked the Sommelier to... More

The hotel's exterior and parking grounds give the impression that this hotel is quite majestic. Once you enter the building you will be greeted by some lovely staff who speak excellent English. Sadly, that is where my good comments come to an end. Before we unloaded our luggages, we were escorted to our bedrooms. The path to the bedroom was... More

We stopped for the night after a long plane/train trip. The first view of the hotel along the allée is beautiful, and the interior is just as lovely. The warm welcome at reception--they called me by name when I walked in--was relaxing and comforting. Our bags were swept up and carried upstairs to our room, which was cozy, large and... More

I loved the chateau , it is very authentic, the atmosphere was very nice, the rooms are big with nice terrace to the garden, there is a small river just outside the room, very clean .the car parking is very comfortable, also very convenient, the breakfast is simple but enough.just be aware that most rooms are in an annex build... We stayed here in late June 2015 and loved it. The room was comfortable and quiet, overlooking the back terrace. We have read some negative reviews of this hotel because of its location: it is true that to reach the chateau you have to drive through a light industrial or commercial estate, but as soon as you drive through the... Avoid this place. Rude, inefficient reception staff. We asked 5 times to have a room with functioning air conditioning, which was unacceptable with a 4 month old baby in tow. It's situated in the middle of an industrial estate, although you wouldn't know it from the website. We enjoyed leaving and cancelled our second night stay after the worst customer... More

We arrived to this hotel in July 2015. The Château is beautiful. Unfortunately we were put in the annex, which is not at all like the Château. The air conditioning was working but the room was depressing and the shower was not working well, as water was splashing everywhere. When we insisted on being in the Château they gave us... More

Our first stop on our four day tour of southern France was at Chateau De La Pioline a great place to base yourself to visit the lovely surrounding villages and Aix en Provence city centre. It is out of town a bit so you do need a car. The Chateau was delightful very peaceful. The rooms were very nice with... More
