the room was very light and well-equipped with a beautiful kitchen and we had so much fun buying on Casino and cooking dinner. a good experience in south of France, although we had problems with the hot water after my husband took a bath, but it was promptly resolved after calling the reception.

I stayed here for three months while working in the area. I can see the reason for the mixed reviews. If you are looking for standard corporate Ibis style then don't stay here. If you are looking for a character building with lovely gardens, a comfortable room, fridge and cooking facilities then it is ideal. The ground floor rooms are...

an ancient hotel and apartments with beautiful gardens and fountains. It dates back to 1472. Clean and basic furnishings. No need to hire a car as it is directly on Bus Route 8 at the end of the drive, which stops outside the tourist office near the main bus station where you can reach most villages. We arrived by train...

My husband, son and I spent the second week here of our 3 week France trip on an RCI exchange. Kathy and the other front office staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The wifi is not the fastest, especially once the guests are awake and on the network. Our ground floor room was not large, but with our private...

We spent one night here and were pleasantly surprised after having some difficulty finding it. The landscaping and fountains look really good. Our unit had a loft and easily fit four of us. Everything was clean, and the receptionist was helpful. A car is a necessity, and it's about a ten minute drive into Aix.

i can absolutely recomend this 17th century hotel, for its unique gardens, quiteness and location. Also very important is that the room was very clean , and the stuff was really very friendly and caring.

La Bastide is an old typical building from Provence, very nicely rebuilt ; it is easy to reach from highway, and prices are very affordable. breakfast qwas a bit scarce for the price, and rooms have to keep their windows colsed due to the nearby higway and its noise. convenient for a 1-night stay in the middle of a roadtrip.

We came here using a timeshare exchange. It is not a full service hotel, so if you are expecting that you might be disappointed. We enjoyed it very much. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly (in the French, not the American style). It is located near the autoroute and convenient to busses. The building is hundreds of years...

For 60 Euro per night for Aix we have not had any big expectations. Actually the accommodation looked older than I imagined- old fashion decoration, old furniture and not clean enough, very uncomfortable bed and pillows. The good pionts of the hotel are a nice garden and a big spacious parking with enough parking places. Indeed the good parking facilities...

Manager is American living in france 20 years. Very helpful. For the price, you get a lot. Quiet, safe rural feeling. Lovely gardens overlooking tennis courts. I would not stay again unless I could be guaranteed ground floor room though.

“Ground floor rooms are best with outdoor seating. There is some motorway noise at the front but not too intrusive. The back is quieter.”

“Beware the stairs. Steep and 27 of them. We are 72. This was almost impossible for us. That said, we loved the grounds and the kitchenette where we made adequate meals. Very quiet countryside ambiance. Bed small and hard but adequate. If we had not had sat nav, would never have found it. But the remoteness is part of its charm. I loved it that they lock the gates at night. We felt safe and that our car would be safe.”
