Almost unfaultable. No parking at the hotel disappointingly - especially for the disabled. But there is a drop off outside the door and public parking not too far away. The room and the restaurant were both a real treat.

I usually go to Poitiers once a month for 3-5 days and I usually stay here athe Mercure. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, convenient location and reasonably priced. Only minor complaint I would have is that they need to have more irons and ironing boards available.

My husband and I had a lovely two nights at this, our second, Mercure Hotel. Benjamin greeted us warmly and provided us with first class care throughout our stay. He gave us a tour of sorts and pointed out that the hotel is built within an ancient Jesuit chapel. We stayed in a standard room which was clean, quiet and...

This hotel is in a good location and is a converted church with immense character. In the hotel is an excellent restaurant, Les Archives, where food is served to a very high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful.Bedroom had unusual shape due to church conversion restrictions. Only a short walk to town centre. Bus nearby for Futurescope visit.

The hotel was convenient to the train station, although up a hill and convenient to the sites of Poitiers. I paid extra for a superior room which was a duplex and very charming. Restaurant food was very good for dinner. I did which the reception staff were more welcoming and friendly but the staff at the Tourist Board made up...

Although our room is NOT the one pictured - (why did I think it would be, it never is!), it was still a very nice room, with architecture from the old chapel still on show in a modern environment. Air conditioning and a good quality bed. Very quiet too.

We had 2 rooms to accommodate a family if 4. Hotel staff were very efficient and had our rooms ready at a good time. As requested, the rooms were across the corridor to each other so that our teenage daughters could be separate but not too far away. Our room was superb with a huge walk in wet room and...

The hotel is well located in a lovely old building with great architectural interest. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a separate toilet. The bathroom located next to the window and only separated by a curtain was unusual, but ok for us. Easy parking at the door to check-in and longer parking available a short walk away. Breakfast...

We arrived on the train and the hotel is an easy walk in 15 mins and then you are positioned conveniently to explore the town. The hotel is on a street that is not part of a main thoroughfare so is lovely and quiet. Had checked in online in advance so arrival was very straightforward and a really warm and...
