Bed and evening meal for 2 worked out at 259 euros, sorry but this is the wrong price for this standard of accommodation. Room 95 euros definitely only worth 50 euros as you can hardly sit on the loo , no mirror in room ,bathroom hairdryer defunct, mold in shower ,all accommodation inferior to downstairs area that was lovely, food fell...

One of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at and we gave eaten at many good restaurants around the world. From the minute we walked into the beautiful dining room the attention that we received was first class. We were delighted at the unexpected arrival of a number of delicious complimentary courses. The menu was innovative and each dish was...

Our family room was great for the five of us - a separate room for the children and a lovely big bed for us! We had dinner in the terrace which was a real treat and they were happy to have the three children there. There was a reasonably priced children's menu so we could order a lovely meal for...

Stayed at the delightful, very French logis for 1 night on way south. Very charming hotel full of interesting rooms. Family run. Clean, comfortable beds and small but clean and modern bathroom. Freshly made pastries for breakfast as well as cereal, coffee or tea. A tiny but quaint little village with a couple of friendly bistros too.

The hotel was exactly as described in their details. Very pretty inside and out. Rooms were in keeping with the style and age of hotel, attractive, clean and spacious. We did not have dinner at the hotel but had breakfast, which we selected the night before. All the bread, croissants and pastries are freshly made. Plenty of food and tea...

Lots of good points - a converted old coaching inn; a lift to get luggage upstairs; a large, well appointed room done up in some style; friendly helpful staff (not much English spoken). Dinner was good not great, and the food is quite expensive, the cheapest set menu nearly 30 euros, the dearest is over 50. During dinner we had...

An old post house in a pretty village, in the same family for four generations, now overseen by the formidable Mme Martin. We had two nights and two excellent dinners here in Central France, just south of Poitiers, and we will certainly stop here again. Simple unpretentious accommodation, but the cuisine is elegant and ambitious, the best that traditional French...

Booked online which did not allow us to choose all the options on accommodation. We were offered a better room on arrival, but for one night the booked room was adequate, if a little small. We were a bit worried by the room overlooking the main road, but in the event it was well soundproofed and quiet The food was...

sadly we failed to read the hotel information and therefore didn't notice that the restaurant was closed on Mondays - so what was supposed to be a gastronomic wedding anniversary & birthday celebration resulted in the worst meal we have had in france. We were unable to sit in the delightful garden as there was only one table which was...

Very special elaborately prepared meal which was delicious. Good night's sleep and friendly staff. We liked the charming rustic antique interior, down to the little birds' nests by the entrance. Not our usual type of accommodation - but as they say, " You can't take it with you"! Go with an open mind and curious palate, and come away delighted.
