We stayed for 5 nights. And had an amazing time. Pristine white beach, very clean in front of the resort. Staff were very friendly and always there for you if you need something. The food was also very good. We had the beachfront villa. The only thing we didn‘t like was our bed. It was in our opinion a bit too hard you could sleep on the floor and it would feel the same. But everyone likes it different. For the travellers in the beginning of 2020 probably until august. They build right next to the hotel a new resort. So you will have a construction site right next it. If you take the beachvilla you will not here anything only during the day while laying at the pool. The sea is not the best for swimming, lots of seagrass
I stayed at Anda White Beach Resort for 3 nights. It is a small hotel but thanks to this you feel intimate. The area is quiet and calm. A beautiful white beach with several people is all for you. The property has an infinity pool. The facility is clean and well maintained. The restaurant offers delicious food. However, the greatest value of this property is the staff. These people are very kind, helpful and kind. Ready to help in any situation. Rent a scooter and explore the surrounding attractions. I would definitely recommend this resort. I will definitely go back there.
The best about this resort is its swimming pool and the location right next to the white beach of Anda. Although the beach is ok, it is not a perfect beach for swimming (you need beach shoes to go into the water due to the sea urchins). The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids including breakfast. We only found out at check-in that the extra bed and the breakfast for the kids are not included in the deal. This ended in extra charges which are quite substantial and made our overall costs for our stay 35% more expensive (especially the extra mattress is ridiculously expensive for what you get). There are better options in the neighbourhood.
It has been a year since our last visit on business and chose Anda again for proximity and the quality of service, transport, food and exceptionally pleasant staff. We were not disappointed. The kitchen only too happy to adjust menu choices to dietary needs, or just to find something special for you. And, yes we will be back.
This place is paradise. Lovely place to relax and just be lazy and enjoy the view. Staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Room is very clean and the sea view is just perfect. The pool has got two jacuzzi.
The Anda White Beach Resort is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Our recent stay at AWBR was for six days and five nights beginning May 9. The staff always did their best to accommodate. From the pick-up upon arrival at the airport, until our departure on May 14, the staff mostly did their best and were mindful of everything. The food from the restaurant was good and portions were generous. One evening the staff seemed more interested in their mobile phones than clearing the table or checking if we wanted more iced water. Sadly, there are some obvious signs of change that are not for better. Out of six beach recliners, three of them were totally outright busted, or had wood boards that had come unnailed. Only a few of the chairs had cushions. We stayed in the room known as The Bungalow. The air conditioner is showing signs of age and was unable to cool the room from approximately 11:30 AM until 5 PM, even with the drapes closed and the shower door closed. During the entire duration of our stay the internet was largely unavailable. In fact, because of the remoteness of the area, even cellular data was not sufficient to do anything as necessary as access bank accounts. But the most egregious problem is the obvious termite destruction on the attached deck. One of the boards had enough wood missing that easily two fingers could fit in the hole.. Two of the support beams for the roof have obvious sections of wood missing. One of the support beams is so hollow that I poked my finger through the outside – there was no more wood to block my finger.…
After a nerve wracking 2 hour car trip it was a delight to arrive at the Anda White Beach. A friendly welcome and cold drink were much appreciated. This a a very friendly establishment located above a beautiful beach. Our ocean view room had a glorious view, the bed was reasonably comfortable but the shower was an inefficient hand held wall mounted with poor water flow. There were tea and coffee facilities which we appreciated and there was a usable balcony area. The general appearance of the room was slightly shabby but comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and the pool area above the beach has lots of lounges and shade. This is not a beach for swimming because the level of water at low tide is very shallow. It is generally rather hot for doing much walking. We did walk along the ocean front to the local beach about a km or so. Take a torch if you want to take a night walk along the beach and watch out for the local dogs which are plentiful. Otherwise it is best to hire a tricycle and have the excitement of riding along very bumpy roads to get to any of the local sites. The Chocolate Hills are about 2 hours away and you can hire a van from the hotel. The Anda White Beach is recommended as a comfortable friendly hotel with a good restaurant in a not so accessible or over developed beach area.…
Staff is nice - friendly, helpful and attendive. Breakfast is good and plenty to choose from. Restaurant is also OK, but maybe they should modernise menu. Location is nice - on the beach. Pool is well maintained and nice. There are 2 jacuzzis and two poolboys - younger one is very friendly but the other one closed the jacuzzis for who knows what reason when we were swimming and no reaction when he viewed us trying to get jacuzzi to work. We stayed in two rooms - one is small room which isn't sale on sites. Small but clean and nice. Standard room was also OK - outdated with no shower gel, but OK. Third one was higher end room overlooking ocean. AWFUL! Sure - view is great but the smell of mold!! Groase. Door doesn't close properly. Luckily we stayed in that room for 1 night. Overall this resort needs a good clean-up and renovation. Since then - there is much better hotels nextdoor to stay at! …
We have no idea that this resort from Tagbilaran seaport is 2 hours drive and 2 hours going back. The booking site said, only 2 rooms left but when we got there, we were the only guests for 5 days lol. It would be nicer if the manager give us an upgrade at least since the resort is empty. The price is expensive than any other resorts and no other guests except us. Poor management! Managers don’t even say hi/hello to us. When we left; they don’t even bother saying “thank you for staying at the resort” even though they saw us leaving. We ordered food before the managers came at their restaurant, but the managers got their food first and ours took a long time; which for me, its a bit disappointing. WiFi is not working. Can’t enjoy WiFi in the room have to go to their restaurant and the receptionist will enter a new WiFi password which really sucks! The rooms are nothing special for the price we paid. Big pool overlooking to the ocean. The beach is not that clean. Can’t swim as a leisure but you can go diving. White powder sand beach. Staffs are friendly and nice. No nearby restaurants and it’s like in the middle of nowhere. But you can go and eat at the other resorts nearby. Some restaurants are in town like hang over bar. If you like quiet away from the crowd and If you don’t mind traveling that far from their city Anda Bohol is good for you. Motor bike rent is 700 pesos (CAD$17-18) for one day. Their Van rent is 3500pesos (CAD $88.00) from the resort to Tagbilaran. Tour with van 5000pesos (CAD $125).…
This is such an amazing place to stay at! We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. The view across the infinity pool is splendid and a walk along the white sandy beach makes one feel happy and relaxed! The rooms are high standard : rather big, neat, aircon, towels, perfect mattresses etc. Only the bathroom needs some improvement (difficult for two people to use it at the same time). The food at the restaurant is great and of good quality. A few things to bear in mind though before you make a reservation at this place : it's not a hotel and in the evening there is nothing much you can do except watching TV. One other thing I'd like to share is that the road going there from the center of Anda is in very bad condition.
