Went here for long weekend with the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they made our stay very enjoyable. Yes, we had to wait sometimes for drinks but we were a large party to deal with. Food was good and rooms were large though could do with refurb in the near future. Loved the...

We have stayed at the hotel many times over the years. In the past it was a rather forlorn and forgotten part of the Mercure empire, but since the present owners have taken over, it has gone from strength to strength. The views over the lake are breathtaking and particularly on a misty autumn morning. The staff are well trained,...

Our 1st floor 'superior' room overlooked the outdoor swimming pool and had lovely views over the lake. The pool was very welcome with the 30C temperature but would benefit from having a few more sun beds. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Dinner, outside by the pool, was excellent although the wine was rather expensive; we didn't take...

We used this as a stop-over after a week of camping and a week of boat hire so the large comfortable bed was very welcome. The room was very well-equipped with a sofa, comfotable chair and a balcomy with a view of the lake. There was also tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was much appreciated. We ate in...

We stayed here on the first night of a two-week trip through France. It's ideally located as a starting point - not too long a drive from the Eurotunnel, particularly if you have a long-ish drive in the UK to get to the tunnel. It has a large car park. First impression was, unfortunately, of a smell of smoke -...

We were looking for a romantic place to stop on our way home from Italy and this place was a bit off the motorway but had a pool and the lake site location made it look like it would fit the bill perfectly. Well the welcome was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was...
