Travelling across France on business and have stayed in many different types of accommodation but this is my favourite. Stayed 4 nights. Beautifully styled, elegant and quirky all at the same time. Felt immediately at home in La Chambru des Roys. Jerome is a lovely host. Woken each morning to the sound of the baker delivering fresh croissants - how...

Dear travellers, please be aware that you won't be able to have access to this property unless you show up before 7pm. In my case i was trying arrange the pick up of the key from the hotel reception as having a long way to go by car i'd understood i wouldn't be able to make it to the hotel...

Very excellent guest house with really nice room (les troix rois) and with a very passionate owner. We stayed only for 24 hours, but we enjoyed the room with two cheminés and an ancient wood parquet. The owner gave us nice advise for our visit and dinner.

We stayed for just one night in our way down to the South of France, and were given two apartments down the road from the main guesthouse. The building is a typical old French townhouse, divided into self contained apartments with kitchen and living areas. Both very comfortable and spacious and tastefully decorated in a minimalist French style. Lovely.

This is an old property near the centre oftowwn, The roomhad old wooden beams and a lovely bed. The view from my window was lovely. I didn't have the breakfast but I was looked after extremely well. The only pain is that you can't access it before 5 pm but then it is a B & B

This is an old house in the old town. It is located in a narrow one-way street. It is possible to park outside but if you arrive before 5.00pm it is difficult to find a space. We had not read the small print on the website and turned up early to find that we could not get access - unless...

On a cold night in March we found our way to La Maison des 3 rois! Got lost on the way and the local estate agent turned out to be a friend of Jerome so he called and guided us in by phone! This place is an amazing historic b&b which has been fantastically renovated. The owners are utterly delightful...

If you're in the area and need somewhere to stay I'd thoroughly recommend La Maison des 3 Rois. It's charming and rustic without being pretentious. Serious thought has been taken to make the place feel authentic and comfortable. The rooms were warm and the beds comfortable. We stayed in the Petite Suite - plenty big enough for a family with...

We stayed 2 nights on our way back to England in November and Laon was a town completely new to us. We chose this place because it was old and real. Built in about 1323 (as a hotel) it has undergone myriad changes but retains plenty of charm. The current owner, Jerome, couldn't have been more helpful. We had a...

This B&B is in the heart of this lovely mediaeval city. The building has wonderful character and the owner and his team were extremely helpful. We stayed two nights whilst cycling the Via Francigena and we were really supported. The weather was wet when we were there and we needed to do some washing and they loaned us a clothes...
