Close to the train station, this is a very special hotel situated in a converted chapel. Entry is very modern in white with flashy colored chairs , a piano , guitars and very friendly reception. Also the room is trendy , big bath room good bed and the room is warm enough 😄. Breakfast is excellent but not cheap for... More

Last week we stayed 4 nights at Sozo Hotel. This hotel is situated in a 19th century chapel, which gives this boutique hotel a special atmosphere. The hotel presents itself as a 4* hotel, but unfortunately misses some details that comes with 4*. The rooms are small, the floors in bathroom and toilet not hygienic, only 1 small soap bottle... I didn't have one of the beautiful rooms with the stained glass windows and the chapel architecture, but it was nice enough, very contemporary. If the promised minibar was there, I never found it. It's in a quiet neighborhood across from the botanical garden. I hated to leave ! There is also a spa which I didn't have time to... More

We arrived at the hotel and were told by a lady that we could not check in and to come back. When we came back at the check in time only one room was reAdy. Our friends saw our room and decided to upgrade for an extra 100 euros instead of waiting for their room. The reception was as described... More

The hotel is very unique, breathtaking interior and very attentive staff who spoke excellant english. The only thing that lets it down is the breakfast, the scrambled eggs were served in a glass and they were so undercooked you would be excused if you thought you had been served eggnog, and the bacon turned out to be strange cubes of... Everything pretty was new (renovation must be 1-2y old max). Every personnel we met were very pleasant and helpful (especially the breakfast guy with retro-glasses)! Restaurants and sightseeing suggestions were spot on. Only thing that wasn't perfect was the air conditioning (as others have mentioned). When it aw off, it was too hot. When was on, it was too drafty.... More

A cozy and sleek hotel in an old church, wonderful and relaxing. The rooms are small but beautiful and have all the essentials needed. Service is great. Cannot beat the location which is beside a lovely park and within 4 minutes of the train station walking. Soft comfy beds, and all rooms are unique. This is my second stay. I... More

Hotel bedrooms are built into the old chapel complete with stained glass features. Our room, on the 3rd floor, was a little small, but had everything we needed. Excellent, simple breakfast. Good location next to the botanical gardens and close to the centre, but beware you can't walk through the gardens at night.
