We arrived in La Baule on a wet & windy afternoon, with no overnight accommodation booked. Having headed for the seafront, we checked out trusty satnav for hotel details and up popped the 2* Ty Gwenn. Having found the little hotel very easily, we parked directly outside and checked the information for pricing. It seemed reasonable enough, so I went in and checked with reception for availability. The hotel manager was extremely helpful and kindly showed me 3 different rooms which were available for that evening.
Our twin room, located on the ground floor (room 4) was very pleasantly decorated, was extremely clean and had extras such as toiletries, hairdryer, free WIFI & flat screen TV.
Our room was located next to the guest front door & staircase so from time to time we could hear the door slam & guests truddle up the stairs but this didn't go on late so didn't disturb our sleep. The hotel is located just a few streets from the main seafront at La Baule and... More
