We stayed for a stop over in this great B&B. But we wished we could stay a little bit longer. It was a beautiful apartment with everything you need. The garden is lovely to stroll in and the owners are very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I really recommend this Chambre d'Hotes!

These Chambres D'Hotes are within a beautiful set of old buildings, restored by the owners, Elisabeth and Christophe. The rooms are very light and airy, and decorated in a calming, modern style. They all face a pretty garden. Elisabeth was a charming, friendly hostess at breakfast. She helped us with advice on the area and suggestions as to where to... More

We stayed with Elisabeth at La Parenthese Normande for 4 nights in May in the separate building in her beautiful garden. The room was big, the bathroom excellent with a separate toilet. Breakfast was typically French but really good with home made jams and youghourt. Elisabeth is a very charming and nice lady who gave us the very useful trip... More

We stayed for two nights after arriving at CDG in the morning, visiting Giverny mid-day, and arriving at La Parenthese in the late afternoon. Elisabeth was a huge help in dealing with mechanical problems in our rental car by translating, giving directions, and even explaining the difficulty to a mechanic in the rain. She went above and beyond the duties... More

Six of us stayed only one night. Our hosts, Elisabeth and Christophe prepared a local meal from home grown produce, which they shared with us. They are great company. We had a wonderful evening lubricated by some fine wine and homemade cider. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My husband and I visit friends in France each year. Usually... More

We stayed for one night at the end of May 2015, on our way south from Calais. It was intended as a break to our journey but it was a pleasure in itself. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The hosts were very kind and made our two small tired children very welcome, which is no... More

We stayed 2 nights in October 2014 based on TA reviews. Our room was large and comfortable. We were travelling with friends who had private arrangements after the first night and so we were without a car that day. Our hostess Elisabeth drove us to the bus for a day in Rouen, and was there to pick us up on our... More

We stayed overnight on the way to and from our holiday in the south of France. I cannot fault any part of our stay. The room was beautiful, the breakfast plentiful and delicious and hospitality superb. We also took advantage of the evening meal (complete with bottle of wine) which was delicious and very good value. Would definitely stay again... More

We chose La Parenthese due to the availability of a "disabled" room suitable for my 88 year old M in L. We stayed 3 nights which were perfect in every way. The accommodation is immaculate, clean, comfortable, we all had great "sleeps"! We dined with Elizabeth and her 2 boys on our first night, the food was very tasty and... More

Our two nights at La Parenthèse Normande made a wonderful base for exploring Normandy. The B&B is comfortable and lovely, in a quiet village outside Rouen. We enjoyed exploring the gardens on the property (complete with grazing bunnies), and the open bedroom design and large windows of our bedroom made it seem as if we were part of it all... More
