The hotel is just steps from the historic city center located in a side street. Our room was small, hardly any space to put your suitcase however, the bathroom was clean and bright. Toiletries were limited to shampoo and tiny little pices of soap. Towel and bath towel (small) were provided. It was very humid so, lacking air condition, we...

I booked the Autelier signature room for 1 night. I selected this room as a bit of a treat plus it included its own balcony and sun terrace. The hotel is brilliantly located and the parking really close. The welcome was fine and manager helpful. The room however is small (looks bigger in photos) with no wardrobe space. The big...

We wanted a stopping point between Paris and the Normandy coast and I mistakenly chose this hotel. People were nice but the hotel was just this side of seedy. Had to ask for towels, no soap, very small room. It was within a very shy walk of the cathedral but even with location look elsewhere.

We just returned from a two-night stay at Hotel De L'Europe in Rouen while visiting ancestral locations in upper Normandy. I researched many hotels in Rouen and the surrounding countryside before choosing Hotel De L'Europe, and could not have been happier with our decision to book there. We reserved two deluxe rooms; a double and twins. My husband and I...

This is a superb location for exploring the city. Very friendly and accommodating ownership with a comfortable room. Unique motifs in many rooms - quite interesting. Bar on site very convenient for grabbing a settle- in or wind-down drink! Delightful bartender!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on our recent visit to Rouen. The location was excellent to see all the sites in the old part of town. George welcomed us and was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

The man who worked there was rude, the woman was nice and helpful with some English. The breakfast is pricey for what it is. No coffee refills or a way to make your own. Not too expensive and perfect for one night.

“Rooms on the street can be noisy, but we liked our 4th floor street-side room with large windows (nice in summer), a charming view, and an excellent shower/bath. Good value - but we knew in advance to use earplugs, and as we turned in early one festive July night, we were glad we did.”
