We were at this hotel in April just before Easter. We were on the top floor and had a room with a balcony. The location is fabulous and you can walk to everything. We arrived late and were given the code to the front door. There's a small elevator so getting our luggage all the way up was no problem....

We stayed here two nights, but they were separated by travels through Normandy. This was our first hotel in France, and by the time we returned to it (to turn in our rental car and finally head to Paris), we appreciated it that much more. Our room was HUGE by European standards, it was very, very simple, sleek, and clean,...

Ignore the 2 star rating...this place is polished. The hotel offers clean Scandinavian lines and spotless rooms with stunning views of the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Rouen. For those who might be jet-lagged, this hotel offers what I think of as "metal curtains:" lower them, and the room turns night-time dark in midday. My 2eme etage corner room (3rd floor...

This hotel is in an absolutely breathtaking location so that you have a front row seat and view of the magnificent Rouen cathedral. We had a great view and a balcony, and enjoyed wine on that while looking over the plaza and cathedral. The hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable. The room was nice-sized and the bed was very...

We had the unusual experience of booking the one night before the owners went on a mini-vacation so we were the only guests in the hotel. Our immaculate room, with balcony, faced Rouen Cathedral. The appointments were very nice and the bed was among the most comfortable we stayed in during our 5 weeks in France. Breakfast was substantial, so...

We booked in Rouen to get over "jet lag"--and could not have been more pleased. The hotel was an easy walk from the train, and right next door to the Cathedral. Our 4th floor suite had not one, but TWO balconies--and a front row seat to the sound and light show that played across the face of the cathedral. The...

I stayed in this hotel with my wife on a two week vacation to France. It is a very nice hotel conveniently located in city center immediately adjacent to the Rouen Cathedral. Clean, comfortable, modern, very nice management. A nice 5-10 minute walk from the train station. I would stay there again when visiting Rouen.

This hotel is right by the Cathedral and about 500 metres from the old market. We stayed on a Sunday – and would warn other visitors that the reception closes on Sundays from 13.00 to 17.00. If you are expecting to be received at 14.00, you will need to wander around the city for a couple of hours! There is,...

Booked as a surprise birthday getaway by my hubby, I found the cardinal hotel to be very modern, clean and staff very helpful. The views from our room of the cathedral were amazing, and we had a lovely balcony to sit and sip wine (room 19). Location was very convenient for shops, restaurants and historic attractions. Had a lovely stay.
