We stayed 1 night - managed to park right outside and Daniel was lovely - his home is crazily old and beatiful - yes no lift but who needs a lift when you have stairs so old they are wonky ! Felt like we had gone back in time :) art adorning every wall and quirky old antiques and artefacts... More

The room was very small, squeaky floorboards and dirty. We booked 2 nights, arrived at 4 pm after a long day of travel only to find we had no hot water! Daniel informed us that this was normal for France and we would have to wait until 9 or 10 pm to have a shower. When we explained that this... More

A great location matched with a wonderful breakfast was made only better by the generous hospitality of Monsieur Daniel himself. I was looking for a place to spend the first two nights of a two week trip to France and came across Au Micocoulier in tripadvisor. Rouen was my 'jet-lag' stop and walking around the fascinating city certainly fit the... More

This is a lovely house/flat, right in the best area of Rouen, very close to everything. Its a bit of a pain when you arrive, since you need to drop off baggage and then go park - and there are no lifts and lots of stairs. However, it is very quaint and an unusual place to stay. The bedroom is... More

This is a long over-due review of Le Micocoulier Bed & Breakfast. Monsieur Daniel was so interesting. Beautiful art work adorns the walls of an ancient dwelling that has been re-gentrified. Room is basic and very clean (full sized bed) with attached bath. Breakfast table set so beautifully. Location excellent, price very good!

This hotel has perfect location in the heart of Rouen on the picturesque old street - it was really very nice choice to stay! Owner of this hotel is Mr. Daniel and he was very polite and very helpful. Daniel created almost ideal conditions for our vacation time in Rouen: he served daily breakfast with fresh juice, he's bought freshest... More

We stayed two nights and were absolutely delighted with position of the hotel and Daniel was a charming host. The breakfast room was a joy to eat in with lovely large windows overlooking the courtyard. We would not hesitate to stay here again and again !!!

This is a one-room "hotel" located in central Rouen. Daniel met us and escorted us to the parking garage, and walked our traveling companion to another nearby hotel. He provided good information about Rouen and a nice walking tour for the day we had to visit. The room, with shower, was comfortable, clean, and quiet, located on the top floor... More

A unique chance to live in the true Ruen fachwerk family house! At pedestrian street, close to restaurants, tourist attractions and fruit market; windows to the courtyard, very quiet. Daniel is a very good host, charming person, interesting to talk to

We stayed two nights and loved our experience. There is one room in this house built in 1760. It has lots of charm and Daniel, our host, was charming and enthusiastic. He suggested we visit the current Impressionists exhibit at the Musee Beaux Arts and it was fabulous. The sitting room where breakfast is served is also for guests so... More

“As the stairs in this old house are a little 'off level', I would suggest leaving unnecessary items in your car and only taking in a small case with essentials. The property has only one room but is very comfortable with good en-suite facilities. Agod quality breakfast was provided and bottled water provided in the room. The owner speaks excellent English for those visitors who struggle with French!”
