My girlfriend took me here for more 18th birthday and we had an excellent time. The food was so amazing and the staff are so friendly. The rooms are very nice and clean. It is definitely worth the price. 100% would stay again.

We started here one night while meeting family camping at a nearby site. The chalets were clean and well maintained and the pub was nice. Had lunch in the pub and good was good. Only 5km from Rye. Not much else immediately around on foot, but pretty countryside for walking.

3 night midweek stay, comfy, quiet, modern, basic motel style room,(a couple of chairs would be a welcome addition) with a very good breakfast. Rye is just down the road with plenty of things to do and good eating options.

I highly recommend this pub. The food was great and very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was just perfect. The staff were attentive and extremely friendly and we were made to feel very welcome including my little puppy. He enjoyed all the fuss that was made of him. Definitely give this place a try if you fancy good food in...

Met a friend for a catch-up and something to eat so didn't stay overnight. What a treat though! Warm welcome - delightful exterior and interior - and the best steak and ale pie I think I have ever had (and I'm fussy when it comes to pie!) served with a generous selection of fresh vegetables including potato dauphinois for a...

Enjoyed a lovely family gathering here. Very accommodating, friendly, helpful staff and amazing freshly cooked food. Plenty of choice for all tastes and can't wait to return soon. Nice large garden with accommodation available on B&B basis.
