The property is like a dream, beautiful garden, the room was romantic like the pictures, it was exactly what i expected!:) The breakfast was the best we had our 2 weeks in Normandy- homemade apricot tart, of course the best smelly cheeses (yum!), jams, and many other assortment of goodies. The couple is lovely and accommodating and made me feel... More

If you are travelling to Giverny, check into this countryside B&B. La Pluie de Roses has 2 couples room and you need to book ahead to secure a room to avoid disappointment. Huge beautiful garden with a greenhouse like dining area on the second floor. Very well-maintained in the cleanliness and tidiness. Owner speaks good English too which is very... More

This place is a little gem. The room is traditionally French and quirky. It's a beautiful big bed and breakfast with beautiful grounds. Claude monets house is so close and is so beautiful too. I highly receommend.

The property has two rooms for rent. We rented the room with a garden set in the patio in front of the room. Stayed 2 nights. Everything actually looked as nice as the pictures on their site. Free parking was right outside our unit. Owners were friendly. Phillip gave us keys to the room and the main gate so we... More

We were warmly welcomed by Philip and served a choice of drinks and crisps in their pretty garden. Our room was decorated in typical french charm. It was a large room and comfortable bed. The bathroom was a good size which led to the mystery why the toilet was tucked away in the far corner next to the heated towel... More

Upon arrival we were immediatly greated with a big smile and some refreshments. We fell in love with the house, our room at ground level, and the garden. Lovely owners that respect your privacy at all times, but are always in for a chat. (Even when your French isn't very good). The room was a mishmash of styles and decorations... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights and hosts Philippe and Elisabeth were absolutely charming and we were welcomed like family. Beautiful large clean rooms and plenty of space in their delightful gardens. Parking on site. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Short walk to the village of Giverny and Monet's Garden and House which our hosts happily pre-arranged our entry tickets.... More

During a recent 3 week trip to France, we stayed primarily at B&Bs. Although all were great, this was by far the best. The B&B is in a beautiful park setting filled with gorgeous rose bushes. The room we stayed in was a huge suite with both a large bedroom and a large bath. The room was decorated in a... More

Astus and Henry two Cavalier King Charles residents greeted us on our arrival before Philippe the owner appeared to help us with parking and showing us to our pleasant apartment. On our last day in France, we decided to make an overnight detour to Giverny before heading home. The apartment accommodates 4 people. It was the only one available for... More

Elisabeth et Philippe, in their home and accommodation, truly labour with Love. From their warm welcome to our fond "Good-bye!"s (which I hope is only "Au revoir!"), they seamlessly did absolutely everything to make us feel perfectly welcomed, comfortably and luxuriously at home, sumptuously nourished, and safely ensconced in their home, gardens, and, indeed, all of Giverny. I look forward... More
