Giverny is a small village hugging the base of the hill and close to the Seine. Mainly two roads with very narrow streets between. This is the place that people go to on the weekend from Paris and there are a large number of people - without it feeling overrun. The main street is made into a pedestrian area on... More

I've loved visiting Monet's garden at Giverny and decided I wanted to spend more time there than just a day trip. I booked into Danielle's adorable b&b for an overnight stay and I am so glad I did. It was a short walk from the shuttle bus drop off, through the pretty village streets, very easy to find. A delightful,... More

This was as excellent B and B right in the village of Giverny. We stayed one night after a long flight. Danielle and Claude are excellent hosts. They are welcoming and helpful to their guests needs. The room was private and comfortable with some chairs outdoors to relax in. The breakfast was typically French, fresh food and more than enough.... More

Where to stay in Giverny? You’ll have to try very hard to do better than at Le Clos Fleuri. The setting is peaceful and it’s only 10 minutes’ walk to the entrance of Monet’s Garden – that is the lower entrance for groups and individuals with pre-paid tickets – and you can buy your tickets from Danielle, your host. She... More

My daughters and I really enjoyed this beautiful B&B! We had a peaceful and lovely two night stay after five days in busy Paris. Danielle, the hostess was wonderful, so helpful and English speaking. She went out of her way to help us find train tickets and also we could purchase our tickets to Monet's Garden through Danielle. I am... More

We arrived in Giverney at lunchtime and after being shown to our very spacious room we sat in the garden and enjoyed our picnic lunch. Danielle Fouché our hostess was extremely helpful and gave us lots of information about Giverney and the best places to see. It was our second visit to the gardens , and quite different from the... Our visit started perfectly as we were met by Darwin at the gate. He escorted us to meet Danielle, our superb hostess. Darwin then barked and trotted off across the yard - - - not too quickly as his legs are rather short. The home (and rooms) are large, spotless, and well-decorated. The gardens are beautiful and there are places... More

We stayed one night at this lovely B and B. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and it's possible to walk to the shuttle stop for the bus to Mont Saint Michel thus saving the parking fee. Breakfast choices were extensive and everything was wonderfully fresh. We had a very nice room on the second floor of the main... More

We left Paris after 5 days of the wonderfully busy city and travelled to Giverny. What a peaceful beautiful change of pace. Danielle Fouche has a very comfortable, quiet, modern and clean B and B and she made us feel very much at home. We came to see Monet 's gardens and the Impressionism Museum in Giverny. The museum was... More

Danielle is a superb person and hostess. She went above and beyond the call of duty. The breakfasts were yummy and relaxing. We stayed in the Poppy room and loved it. My daughter and I enjoyed Giverny so much. We visited at the end of March and the beginning of April. It was colder than we anticipated and rained a... More
