We were stuck for a hotel for the night while waiting for a ferry in Cherbourg and came across this hotel. The owner met up on arrival and was extremely friendly and helpful. The family room we got met all of our expectations. Even though we faced out onto a main street and train station, it was actually quite quiet....

We were catching an early train so needed a hotel handy for the station, which this one certainly was ( the name kind of gives it away! ) but seriously, it's located right opposite the station across the road. Staying for two nights we were warmly welcomed by a peasant young lady who spoke a little English in response to...

This is a lovely little hotel. The hotelier we dealt with was always friendly, he spoke very good English and google translate always came in handy for tricky conversations. We had a lovely family/quadruple room. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and a nice little seating area too. We stayed for two nights but would have been more...

We needed a clean, reasonably priced hotel near the train station and this hotel fit the bill. The manager was a sweet welcoming lady who was very gracious. These are not luxury accomodations. Our rooms were a bit small but we only stayed one night. All in all a good value for our needs.

An alright hotel for the money. Beds and were clean but very basic. Not many English TV channels. Nice location and opposite to the new shopping mall. Breakfast was nothing special and was just bread and butter. Overall if you're looking for a clean basic hotel then you should stay but anything more advanced isn't recommended

Stopped at hotel overnight en route to The Loire. The patron was lovely and welcoming. Our family room was large and clean. Bathroom although small was clean & shower was powerful, just what was required to wake us up ready for the long journey south. Continental breakfast was fresh & plentiful. Would definitely stay here again for overnight stop off....

Good value and a clean room for one night. A budget hotel near the train station but not very much else close by. Good Wifi and good customer service. We stayed here and at the Moderno down the street, recommend this one!

I wanted a good value, well located hotel for an overnight and that is exactly what I got. Easy to find, free parking, close to the ferries (and trains obviously), a short walk to restaurants etc. Good wifi, clean and comfortable room and pleasant staff. Ticked all the boxes.

Not super budget but I wasn't expecting much at €45 per night, but I got a decent-sized room with double bed and table and chair (old and simple furnishings, and the bed was sagging in the middle) and a very small but decent bathroom (good water pressure and shower head, however, the towel was small and thin). I was on...

We stayed here for 2 nights before returning to Ireland. This hotel was very conveniently located. It is an old hotel but well maintained and for the exceptionally cheap price we could not have chosen better. We had a room at the front of the hotel but the traffic noise didn't bother us. I would stay here again
