Had a fantastic one night stay at this beautiful hotel, the room was very spacious and a great modern bathroom with rain shower. The view from our window over the garden was stunning. We were able to sit in the sunny garden and enjoy some local cider and have a fantastic breakfast the next day despite covid restrictions. The property was only a very short walk into the town centre and had adequate parking. Thoroughly recommend.

Hotel's Favorite
We spent three nights here and loved every minute. We had a room that overlooked a wonderful garden; where, we sat out and enjoyed a evening glass of wine in a peaceful and quiet setting. The breakfasts were excellent with the staff doing everything imaginable to make your stay more comfortable. Everyone associated with the hotel were truly gracious, hospitable, and welcoming.

Good for overnight. Not for a longer stay. Breakfast was relatively poor. Do not clean every day. Location within Bayeux is good, connection the highway is good. For visiting D-day and staying one overnight is good.

Dear sir, We had already taken good note of your opinion, in view of the poor rating given on the B*.com reservation platform. Since you also took the time to post a comment on our Tripadvisor page, this allows us to provide some explanations: in the current context covid 19, our priority and obligation, according French gouverment recommandations, is to ensure the safety of our customers and our team. In most of the hotels in our category, the cleaning service is indeed more limited, as announced on our website, your confirmation email and at the reception. But a full cleaning service was also done during your 4 nights stay. Regarding breakfast: covid 19 protection measures do not allow us to provide our usual buffet. This is why we are currently providing a continental formule at €7,50 (!), which, with various breads and pastries, cereals, hot drinks, orange or local organic apple juice, farmhouse yoghurts, cheese, extra eggs on request, allows a good start to a day of sightseeing. Our guests have been understanding in this particular period and we thank them again for that.

We decided to go to Normandy (from Paris) my 82 y old mother, my wife and myself and were fortunate enough to book at Domaine de Bayeux. The place is a 5minutes walk from cathedral & Mathilde's tapestry: a lovely out-f-time late XVIIIth mansion with nicely high-standard decorated bedrooms overlooking the beautiful park. The bedding is excellent and the bathroom very pleasant (the hotel has been reshaped in 2017). The breakfast is nice in view of complex covid rules. The rooms in the modern building are even more beautiful. A great address to rest, enjoy visiting beautiful Bayeux or the D-Days beaches & places (a short run by car), not t mention the extraordinary garden of Brecy (15' by car). The owner is very helpfull and we'll come back to this hotel the very next time we come to Bayeux.
