Bayeux is an amazing city on it's own - but the things that make it better are the small things. On top of my list was the staff and hotel we stayed at - Hotel le Bayeux. Every night they greeted my by my first name (great touch), and were more than helpful lining up any of the necessities -...

Great location close to Normandy beaches, and walking distance from train station. Very accommodating front desk staff. They served a very good breakfast. Our 2 rooms were very comfortable and very clean.

We bought the Hotel Bayeux package - room , dinner, breakfast, and Normandy tour. It was well worth the price of about 250 euros. The room is a bit smallish but clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and exceptional in meeting any request. Breakfast is outstanding - choices to meet any taste. The tour by Phillipe is excellent -...

We spent 2 nights here at the end of May and were very pleased. The room was clean and nice sized, the breakfast was wonderful, and staff was friendly and helpful, especially Vito, as he made us feel so welcome. We especially liked the beverages available in the lobby, payable on the honor system.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were big enough, but I would have preferred a bit more luxury. Free wifi is nice. The maid kept forgetting to lock our door and it really upset my husband to come back to the room at night and find the room open. But this is a...

Based on Trip Advisor and Rick Steves, four of us booked two rooms for six nights. We were very pleased with our stay. The small lobby was busy when we arrived but Vito made us feel right at home. Even though he was busy with restaurant recommendations, directions, etc. he checked us in and readjusted our friends' rate downward to...

Although we only stayed one night in Bayeux, we were pleased with our choice of hotel. Our room was spaceous and comfortable and the hotel was in a great location for exploring Bayeux on foot. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions etc. I liked the fact that they recommended a restaurant where a free aperatif was offered...

We stayed here recently for one night on a stopover while travelling through Normandy and Brittany. While the service was very good - the receptionist went out of her way to inform us of local attractions, restaurants, things to do etc - this was the worst night's sleep we had on our entire holiday. We found it a bit like...

Availability at the time of our travel in Bayeux was low, as it was only a week after the D Day celebrations, so we paid more than average price for these rooms due to this. The hotel was a little old fashioned, but staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a...

Patricia is a fantastic host. We stayed here for two nights exploring the d day landing beaches. Found it through trip advisors website advice and no regrets. Clean, lo Ely breakfast, friendly English spoken staff. We wanted to find out where the British cemetery was and Patricia kindly drove us to the site one evening. The streets were narrow and...
