We spent 4 nights staying with Pascal in his beautiful home overlooking a large park. The room was large and very comfortable with a quality en suite. The breakfast was filling with home made jams and a new cake offered each morning. The house was a short walk to the centre of the town and Pascal recommended several restaurants where... More

My family of 6 stayed at Le Petit Matin for two nights this past August. The owner was very welcoming and provided excellent suggestions/advice for restaurants and tourist attractions. The B&B is in a great location. Our tour we booked for Juno Beach picked us right up from the hotel. It is also excellent walking distance to shops/restaurants/market/historic buildings. The... I cannot say enough about Pascal, the proprietor of this charming hotel/bed and breakfast. He was warm and gracious and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy area and the town of Bayeux. If your traveling here for the WW II Normandy Beaches and museums or just looking for... More

The service was excellent and Pascal a wonderful host, happy to help with dining suggestions and places to visit. Breakfast was excellent much to choose from and all beautifully prepared and presented. The room was large, comfortable and scrupulously clean as was the ensuite bathroom. The beautiful house is very well placed for visiting Bayeux and many other areas

This charming bed and breakfast is the perfect spot for when you're touring Normandy and Bastogne. It is removed enough away from the major tourist areas but close enough to drive out to the historic WWII areas. The host has exceptional attention to detail from the flowers in the front hall, to the linen choices, to breakfast in the morning.... More

Ten minutes walk or less to city centre. Beautifully decorated 19th Century house with large bedrooms and very generous en suites. The host was helpful with our daily travel plans and he spoke very good English. Breakfast was good with some home produced products available

Definitely agree with other reviews. Pascal Lebret is a great host and has a wonderful B&B. Very close to Bayeaux centre and attractions - all within walking distance. His restaurant recommendations were perfect and he arranged bookings for us.Room and facilities were great and I totally agree with the other reviewers about the breakfasts. Every day he produced one of... More

We selected this B&B because of the rave reviews on tripadvisor. We fully agree. Our room was beautifully decorated, had a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Pascel is renowned for his breakfast and we were not disappointed. He provided us excellent advice on the area and local restaurants. Although it did not affect our overall rating, guests should... We had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Matin. Pascal was a very gracious host. Loved our spacious room, views of the garden and park across the street. The morning breakfast was perfect, with fresh bread, croissants, jams and Pascal even made his homemade quiche. The location was excellent, located in a quiet neighborhood just outside the main area of... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our House This is the second adventure for our Bed and Breakfast 'Le Petit Matin' in this beautiful town of Bayeux. Originally located on 'rue Quincangrogne' for 8 years, we decided to move to our new home that offers more spacious and comfortable guest rooms. Located in the heart of the historic town of Bayeux, on the 'Place Charles de Gaulle' planted with 150 lime trees and classified a 'Natural Monument' in 1932, 'Le Petit Matin' welcomes you warmly. For us, morning is an important time of the day (hence the name of our bed and breakfast!), Too often sacrificed. We therefore wanted to ensure our guests experienced a truly memorable moment, full of tranquillity and authenticity, around a hearty breakfast in the beautiful and completely renovated building dating back to the late 17th and 18th centuries. The house is located next to the old Bayeux porcelain factory which has been run by three successive families (Langlois, Gosse and Morlent). We offer four guest rooms; each carefully decorated and personalized on the 1st floor of our house. We have attached particular importance to comfort, decoration and to our garden. Dates available on August, September and October directly on our website. ... more   less
