We visited for 2 nights last week. Wish it could have been more! The apartment is lovely - perfect location in a beautiful mansion. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and elegantly served. But the best part is the hospitality. Monsieur and Madame Lanchou are the most gracious hosts. They were genuinely interested in our...

Even though we researched this B&B in advance, we were deeply impressed when we arrived at the beautiful city "palais" with its imposing wooden entrance gates. We were then led up a stone staircase typical for castles and into our own two-room apartment suite on the mezzanine, equipped with beautiful historic family furniture. We did not meet the hosts as...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel de la Tour du Pin in August 2014 [Trip Advisor reminded me to complete this review, so the date now is one year old] while in Normandy for the World Equestrian Games. I feel sure it has not changed. M/M Lanchou were our gracious hosts and made us feel welcome every day -...

The Lanchou's were excellent hosts. Very helpful, thoughtful couple. They helped us plan out our day and evenings in and around Bayeux. Room was spacious, clean and easily accommodated 3 adults for 3 nights. Huge bathroom. Location of hotel was perfect. We were able to park the car after our day trips and walk everywhere in Bayeux that we wanted....

Beautiful place. Very clean. Really. And such a nice, helpful, thoughtful couple. We were going to stay only three nights, but ended up staying five because it was so convenient to all the places we wanted to go in this area. This included Bayeux itself, Normandy beaches and museums, countryside, and little villages. No problem with parking close by. It...

The Lanchou's make you feel like you're a guest in their home, which you are.The accommodations are well appointed, comfortable and spacious. Located in the heart of the old city, you are waling distance to all that Bayeux has to offer. One could not ask for a more pleasant setting.

It was an utter delight, pleasure and privilege to spend time at l'Hôtel de la Tour du Pin. My family and I stayed there for two nights recently at the end of our summer holiday, and it was the highlight of our whole trip. The hôtel itself is stunning inside and out, so much so that the photos on its...

My husband and I had the good fortune of spending 4 nights in this very special property which is so rich in history. You feel like royalty when entering the property. The owners have maintained the integrity of the property which dates back to 1770. It is extremely spacious, having 2 larges rooms and a large bathroom. The hosts were...

Just returned from a road trip to France and our stay at the Hotel Tour De Pin was a treasured gem. A friend had recommended it and our stay far exceeded any expectations we had. In fact we chose to stay an extra night as we loved it so much. The hosts were extremely attentive, very gracious and so very...
