We have quaint rooms that are great nestled into an alley way on a busy street. The rooms are small but clean with good beds and good showers. It is situated right on the street with easy access to restaurants, a convenience store and next door to bakery.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the two-level family suite. The stairs to the second floor bathroom were fine for us but would definitely be a little challenging for those with less dexterity. Breakfast was perfect - cheese, fruit, cereal, homemade treats, and good coffee. We had our wine outside on the terrace each evening. Valerie was very kind... More

Great place if you come with a large family of 5 or 6 as there is one two level room with enough pace. Would be the perfect place for a trip to Normandie without having to spend a lot of money on 2 or 3 rooms.

The room was a little small, and also very poorly set up. The TV was on a shelf which blocked access to the bed. I had to dodge every time I went past. The lighting was very dull inside the room. Outside lighting was insufficient. The breakfast was barely passable- no variety and bread and cheese were reused. The hostess... More

Immaculately clean, pleasantly decorated room with comfy bed. Outstanding breakfast. Valerie, the owner,is a local and very helpful. Very convenient location for exploring Bayeux. Plenty of good choices for lunch and dinner on the street, too.

Central for walking around Bayeus with a very helpful host who speaks English well. it is surrounded by a variety of dining options. Breakfast was included and was a good start to the day with a variety of local baked goods, fruit and cheese, including Valerie's homemade jams. Whe helped with touring suggestions and procuring takis (it is almost 30... More

I would first like to say that Valerie who runs this guesthouse is absolutely lovely. She really helped us out when we needed someone to speak in French to our rental company - she really is a nice person . The guesthouse is very easy to find, it's right on the main street of Bayeux, parking isn't an issue with... More

First of all, this place is very hard to find. We drove up and down the street several times before spying the very small sign. We had a hard time finding a place to park but I think that's normal for these smaller towns. We stayed in a small room upstairs in the back. The staircase could be a problem... More

If you have a family of 5 or 6, they have a great room with 2 floors. (Not common enough to be mentioned). Very clean even though rather basic but the place has its own touch and is worth staying at. The owner is very friendly & breakfast generous. So let's get practical : 1 - Finding the place can... More

We stayed here for four nights end of August and we really liked it. It is located within walking distance from the train station and very close to old town. We agree with previous reviews, the duplex room Augusta with its steep stars could be a challenge but everything else was perfect. The host was "très gentille" and we can... More
