Very comfy and perfectly located. Short walk to train and great restaurants. Old building with modern appointments. Our room was charming and cozy with modern bathroom facilities. Our hostess, Sandrine, is a serious cook, and therefore breakfasts were plentiful and excellent. Sandrine is a delight and a wonderful hostess. We chatted and laughed with her a number of times, and... More

La Tour Louise was a gem. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Had a decent view of the Bayeux streets. Breakfast was delicious--crumb cake, cappuccino, fresh juices, yogurt, breads & jams. It was a great way to start the day and get fueled up for Normandy adventures. Highly recommended

We two couples had a nice stay at La Tour Louise. Rooms were a good size, nicely furnished and had big bathrooms. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Suggest you tell host exactly when you'll be down for breakfast. Good location for walking to cathedral, tapestry & restaurants. Overlord Tours picked us up here for our fabulous private Normandy Tour with Melanie,... More

Stayed here for one night and loved it---wish we could have stayed longer. Centrally located in historic part of Bayeux, next to the cathedral, 5 minute walk to the Tapestry and many nice restaurants. Home built in early 1800s, upgraded with amenities but still maintaining its rustic charm. Spectacular views of cathedral out back windows. Hostess Sandrine was delightful, warm,... More

My wife and I stayed at La Tour Louise for two days in late August while visiting the Normandy WWII sites and Mont Saint-Michel..it was wonderful! We really enjoyed getting to know Sandrine and her family..breakfasts were great..especially enjoyed the authentic french toast!! Sandrine was also most helpful in arranging dinner reservations for us prior to our arrival. So, if... More

We had a great time earlier this month. Slept like babies in the comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our fellow guests were nice and interesting and we all felt at home. Sandrine was so helpful with dinner reservations, directions around town, and arranging taxi transport to the airport. Still thinking about her homemade yoghurt and her fabulous kitchen.... More

If you are looking for a truly wonderful French experience, please consider staying at La Tour Louise. Sandrine and Laurent are gracious hosts. Sandrine speaks excellent English and is such a joy! Her breakfast is amazing with home made croissants, cakes, breads, jams, butter and yogurt along with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea. Breakfast is set at her... More

We chose this place because of excellent guest reviews, but we were very disappointed because 1, No elevator, so that we had to carry our luggages to upstairs thru narrow staircase. 2. Breakfast was minimal, only a few pastries, home made yogurt, kiwi, juice or coffee 3. No daily clean up the room unless you request. 4. Not allowed to... More

We are sorry that your stay was as bad but I think you expect a new and modern hotel, while our property is a guest house... You don't read the description ? Then yes, we have no elevator, but it is quite logical in a house from 1842 ... and in France, private houses have no lift ... Then, breakfast... More

Just Perfect! Sandrine and her husband Laurent are more than wonderful hosts...most important they love what they do.The breakfast spread is delicious, Sandrines homemade bake goods are the best! The house, the rooms are full of beautifull details and spotless clean. Location is perfect, magnificent view of the cathedral from our room. Thank you Sandrine and Laurent for the travel... More

My sons and I stayed in La Tour Louise while we toured the Beaches and Museums of Normandy. It was perfect! Perfect hostess/host, perfect location, everything. I consider myself a bit of a hotel snob (nothing less than a 4 1/2-star, please), but decided to try a B&B in Bayeux. I was impressed! We were picked up at the train... More
