I stayed for 5 nights. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Rooms have fridge, cooker, sink and microwave. You can prepare your own meals. Breakfast is buffet style and adequate. Hotel is located next to Lille Gare De Flandres and only 5 minute walk from Lille Gare Europe. It is not a picturesque part of the city. We used the Metro and trains to visit Tourcoing, Tournai, Courtrai and various sites in Lille. There are many sites related to the 1914-18 is you take the time to explore. The beds in the hotel were comfortable and I found the room very quiet. The reception is open 7am to 11pm only. I had a great week in Lille. The hotel is next to Lille Europe a major new shopping mall. Hotel is new and has no real character but it had all I needed.

Lille Euope is not the nicest place in Lile but it is a great location for the stations, 2 minutes from Flanders and 5 minutes from Lille Europe. The rooms are spacious and clean. Go for the two rooms to get extra space. The staff are friendly and extremely helpfull. Only 5 minutes walk to the square or old town. Great value, great service.

This hotel is very close to everything and very handy for the Eurostar station and Euralille shopping centre. The rooms are basic but comfortable and a real bonus is the small kitchenette which comprises: two hot plates, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker and plates, cutlery and pans. The entrance to Carrefour is literally next door so it's feasible to cater for yourself if you don't want to eat out all the time. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. A couple of cautionary notes; we were assured several times by reception staff that breakfast was included so we took advantage of the hotel breakfast, however on checking out we were presented with a bill! Once we explained we didn't have to pay but it did marr what had been a great experience. It's probably better to buy croissants etc from Carrefour and have breakfast in your room - especially as you have the kitchenette facility. We were on the 7th floor with views over the rooftops but also the Lille Flanders rail lines, nice if you're a rail enthusiast but the announcements start early and can be heard in your room! All in all you can't beat this hotel for value and location.

Great location and good experience. We had a 'Grand Studio', which was a double bed and a double sofa bed (which was a bit noisy with the metal springs until you found your sleeping position). We had a view that meant we could see both Gare Lille Flandres and Gare Lille Europe. It had a kitchenette and desk too and was well apportioned. The bathroom was through the bedroom (TV didn't seem to work) which had a sliding door to the lounge area (TV did work) which itself was down a corridor where the kitchenette could be found by the door with Fridge, Double Hob, Microwave. The way our room was laid out meant that the bedroom was quite far away from any other room and the walls were sufficient that there was no transfer of noise either to/from other rooms or the lift which we were directly behind (and was the reason for the corridor). There was a breakfast on offer but with Carrefour literally below us, there wasn't much need. As you would expect, you are expected to wash your dishes although slightly strangely you are also expected to throw your rubbish in the trash chute upon leaving, else you'll potentially be charged €57. Staff were all very good and there was a luggage room as check out is 11am (although their room guide says noon). Would definitely stay again, although their rack rate is an obscene €198. Very close (next door/underneath) to the Euralille shopping centre and entrance to hotel is next door along from Carrefour exit. Not entirely sure how this is rated so low.

Clean, basic and well positioned. Parking a nightmare although when booking they tell you parking is available! Best part of this hotel is the position. The kitchenette is very tiny, hardly able to do anything in it. Its positioned above a great supermarket which is very convenient. I just always find the French people just so unfriendly so no matter how good a place if, it really is up to the service of the people. I can put up with almost anything if people are polite!!! Its OK for a one night stop!
