Les Dornes is a perfect Chambre d'hote to stay either en route back to Calais or as we did for a day's cycling in the Pas de Calais. The accommodation is exceptionally clean, and being a modern house the bedroom and bathroom large with a very good shower. If the weather is fine, relax in the beautiful gardens. Tea and... More

Came recommended by a friend who lives in France and has stayed there, this place proved to be delightful. Rooms are large and well furnished and comfortable. The giant croissants at breakfast and the home made jams superb and evening meals taken in leisurely fashion with our hosts and other guests were superb. Ample off street parking, and excellent gardens... More

We had one night here before crossing from Calais to go home. The Blondels are a friendly and sociable couple, who make sure that one is made to feel very welcome. they both speak excellent English. We had a very comfortable room, the Raspberry, with ensuite bath and loo. It is most spacious and warm. We were given an excellent... More

Fourth visit ! Modern French Chambre D’hote, with really good accommodation and well cooked home grown food. Gilles and Jacqueline will help you with your French language skills if you wish, but they both speak very good English. They make you feel very welcome.

We stayed in the family room with two daughters (age 22 & 19) The room was bright and airy and quite spacious for the four of us. The evening meal was delicious, starting with an apertif on the outside decking. There was good company during the meal with Jacqueline and Gilles being very attentive throughout, they are excellent hosts. This... More

We stayed a couple of weeks ago for just one night. We rang ahead to say we had problems with delay on the Eurotunnel and they offered to wait for us to get there before they ate. The rooms are beautiful, the food is wonderful and they are a really friendly couple. Definitely worth a stay.

We found this lovely B&B last year on the way home from Spain. Nothing had changed except that this year we stayed on Sunday which was a big mistake! The reason for this is that Gilles and Jacqueline have a family day on Sunday so no dinner is available. We so enjoyed the 4 course dinner last year with wine... More

we stayed overnight on route to Calais the next day. Gilles and Jacqueline were extremely welcoming, the room was spotless and we had a lovely meal in their good company. Although we had not booked a meal for the kids as we were arriving late, they very kindly fed them ice cream and other "extras" which was appreciated. Definitely recommended... More

Lovely welcoming, spotlessly clean, bed and breakfast. I would recommend booking the evening meal which was delicious, 4 courses and wine included, all home cooked. We will definately be returning whenever we visit France.

Excellent stopover. We had one night (husband and self) in a lovely large room with an ensuite and separate loo. The sunshine room I think. Gilles and Jacqueline were exceptional hosts. We had an excellent evening meal with wine and coffee. Despite the fact my French is very schoolgirl, we managed most of the dinner in French, chatting with another... More
