A bit far from the city center but this hotel had ample private parking which was important for us. We upgraded to a suite and it was very comfortable for three nights, otherwise the rooms are quite small. The bed was excellent and the service was very friendly. The breakfast was good (although surprisingly the coffee was pretty bad). An easy drive to the airport!

dear Liz Thank you for your feedback on your stay. As you specified, we have a private closed car park. The airport shuttle is 500m from our establishment. Just a 15-minute walk to the Place du Capitole. Our location allows our guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of the city centre. We look forward to welcoming you soon

This hotel looks great on the website and the reviews were positive. However, we found it to be a lot less than it seemed. The room was TINY and dark, with the lights not working in one area. The toilet was so small we left the door open more often than not because it was so claustrophobic. We found one towel in the bathroom and another in the wardrobe but each time the room was made up by the housekeeper, we got only one towel and had to ask reception for another. The little kettle doesn’t boil the water, only heats it a bit. The air conditioner was inadequate. The bed was very hard and the pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was expensive at €17 per person and manifestly inadequate, the on request scrambled eggs were made with powdered egg mix and items on the buffet were not replaced often enough. Had we known how bad it was before paying in advance, we would have skipped it and found a boulangerie/cafe somewhere else. This is in no way a 4 star hotel.

We are delighted to read your satisfaction with our location, services and staff. You are right about the month of August the majority of restaurants are closed but this is not the case the rest of the year (fortunately! ) On our same boulevard are 4 restaurants very popular with Toulouse residents. Looking forward to your future visit

Hôtel de Brienne is brilliant hotel that offers safe and pleasant stay in beautiful town of Toulose. The room had adorable design, it was super clean and quite, in the vicinity of city center and in guest-friendly surrondings, with shops, restaurants and cafes in the vicinity of the building. I wish the owner and emlpoyees in the hotel to continue providing perfect service for their guests!

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. From the time we entered the hotel, which has an attractive frontage and is in central Toulouse, whilst being situated in a quiet and picturesque road, the staff welcomed us and were friendly and hospitable throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. We stayed for 3 nights in a twin room which was functional and comfortable - the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The hygiene and cleanliness at the hotel was very good and our room was cleaned and towels changed daily. All the staff were lovely, especially Jade and Illiana on reception. I will definitely be coming back to stay here again, thank you.

The hotel is great! and the staff is AMAZING! I really likes the location and the hotel is very clean. The staff was so helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs (I had to teach a zoom class and they helped me organize a quiet location with good internet access). The room setup is a bit weird but I would totally go back and highly recommend the hotel.

I can only repeat the encomiums supplied by the other guests. While not in the older part of the city it is a short walk there. This means that it is quiet at night. A supermarket two doors down is very convenient for water and snacks. The staff cordial, the rooms nice. Only two flies in the ointment. The breakfast. One is better off getting it elsewhere. Second, the air conditioning while serviceable was anemic by American standards. Thus, those favor frigid conditions in the height of summer should look elsewhere. Nevertheless, a pleasant stay and would return without hesitation.

Thank you for your comment. We are located in the city center of Toulouse, a 15-minute walk from Place du Capitole. Our location 500 meters from the Brienne canal gives you the benefit of calm in the center of the city. On our boulevard several popular restaurants and a supermarket. For breakfast, 3 choices: continental (for small appetites), hot and cold buffet (with the added bonus of discovering the taste treasures of Toulouse) Regarding the air conditioning, it is adjustable in each room. Looking forward to welcoming you next time

Good hotel close to the canal and river. We were worried it might be too far from the town centre, but we spent every evening by the river which was a lovely area to eat and drink. The hotel was very clean and has a good covid policy. There is secure bike storage and carpark. We’d chosen a suite so had a small private balcony. The room was lovely and thankfully had great air con as there was a heatwave that week! We were disappointed that you could only have breakfast in your room if you chose the most expensive option (we only wanted a small breakfast) but the breakfast staff were very helpful and gave us a tray so we could take it up to our room. I’m sorry I don’t know the name of the girl who worked on reception but she was extremely friendly and helpful and communication before our stay was excellent.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights recently. Check in was nice and smooth and I headed straight to the bar for a night cap. The wine was fairly well priced (EUR4 for a glass of red). The hotel is located close to the canals which was lovely for a morning jog. It's also a short 150 meter walk to the bus which takes you to/from the airprot. I enjoyed walking around the whole of Toulouse and didn't mind the location of this hotel. The hotel is close to the Japanese gardens which was lovely to walk around. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, shower and seperate toilet. The shower room was glass so could be uncomfortable depending who you're sharing a room with. The main issue I had with the hotel was the breakfast. This was very expensive. An express breakfast which was literally some bread, jam, coffee and a pastry was EUR 8.50. The extended buffet breakfast was even more expensive (I think EUR 14.50). There's a lovely bakery near the hotel (turn right and then right at the end of the street) which sold coffee and the best pastries. There's also a Carrefore supermarket which is 25 meters from the hotel (turn left). Overall I had a plesant stay and would recommend this hotel. I did a room vlog of the hotel and various other vlogs from my weekend in Toulouse so please search on YouTube for Beckyboos Travel Adventures for more information.
