enjoyed our 1 night stay so much last year that we returned this year for 2 nights. Bit of a hike up to our room or it would have been five stars but the room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. We could even see our car from our window which was parked right outside the hotel for free. Will visit again.

Above bar restaurant area on busy approach to bridge but unexpectedly quiet at night and early morning. Good-size room with enough storage space but poky shower room and toilet. Parking just across the road. Good value Continental breakfast and extensive menu for dinning on terrace which has great views overlooking river but other bars/restaurants nearby. Standard stop-over hotel. Shower rating: 3/5

For a small hotel in a small town we could not find fault it. Excellent room and friendly helpful staff. If you decide to stay here take advantage of the 8€ breakfast which was great value. The view from the dining room is spectacular. Our room was in a type of annex but was spotlessly clean with brand new bed and furniture.

The hotel was fairly easy to find . The room is large and clean but very basic. We only got one bath towel so had to share. It has a large tv and free wi if that wasn't easy to get onto. The extractor fan in the bathroom does not work and neither does the heater. We went into the restaurant for dinner. We ordered chicken, vegetables and fries. The chicken was tough and had probably died of old age several years ago! The veg consisted of 4 bits of pepper and half a tomato and the fries looked like they were left from lunchtime. When we paid I told the manager that the food was awful. He shrugged in that French way and said sorry then ignored us. We would not recommend this place at all.
