The hotel was a convenient place to stop on our drive from Spain to France.Tarascon is a ordinary town. Le Manoir appeared to be the best in the area. Thought the major road would make for a noisy night. However the sound proofing was excellent. However the restaurant in the hotel( not owned by the hotel) was worth the stay.... More

At the fin-de-siècle a local industrialist built this grand home to entertain and impress. Decades later it was all but abandoned before being rescued and converted to a modern hotel. As many details as possible were salvaged including a beautiful terrazzo entry lobby floor, original doors, the herringbone floor of the dining room, the staircase with ornate carving, wood paneled... Stayed for 5 nights in this wonderful 3 star hotel (which could easily be 4 star). All facilities were first class & the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable & helpful. The bed was large & super comfortable. En-suite first class. Lift if you need it. Although near busy road & railway it was very quiet & caused no disquiet... More

We arrived late at night and the desk staff called us on a US mobile number to tell us how to get in to the room. The place is so wonderfully designed. The rooms are just perfect. If you are going to drive by the Chateau Gudanes, this is the perfect place to stay. So many interesting things to do... More

Nice hotel in a beautiful building that according to my understanding was completely renovated inside out a few years ago. That does sound pretty good, however in my opinion, the only issue is the main road that pass right in front of the hotel. The pictures are a bit misleading, being taken right from the max possible angle. So the... More

Been there last night. Plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean and very nice! It's brand new as it was recently decorated. The A/C worked great, and we had a lovely dinner at the adjacent restaurant. Friendly, clean, worth every cent!! Beautiful building- worth the photo shoot:). Enjoy.

Although on a very busy main road, this hotel, in a converted 19th century house, feels quiet and restful. The outside of the building is very pretty while the inside is very modern (the rooms, although very comfortable and clean, have lost much of the character that they might have had). The owners/staff are very friendly and helpful and the... More

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The building is stunning and has been sensitively renovated to a very high standard. Includes all the modern amenities, including rain shower and nespresso machine. The AC also works very well (which is a problem with some hotels in France). Don't miss the amazing Niaux caves nearby!

We spent one night here while on the road and weren't expecting much as it was quite reasonable. The outside of the Manoir is almost overrestored, so pristine as to be fake looking. The modern rooms completed the total confusion. But in the end, it was a large comfortable room with an excellent bathroom, the people were extremely nice and... More
