We stayed here for a night while visiting rocamadour. It is situated on the hill overlooking the village about 1 mile distant. There are great views from the hotel. You can drive down to the car parks at the village.

The review is for the hotel not the views ( they are breath taking in my opinion ) Staff top draw ,rooms clean and tidy ,I would say in this day and age "hand held showers " are a thing of the past . But that is my only gripe.

Unfortunately although promised the lack of wifi was disappointing to international travelers--no one seemed concerned. Welcome was mediocre and the room offered was over the very noise my terrace plus smelled quite bad. Music played too late until I requested it be silenced! Our reservation was made months ahead so expected better. Otherwise the small room was adequate. On the...

Rocamadour is a breathtaking place to visit, well soaked in history and tradition. We visited in early May and although there was a lot of wind, the sun was warm enough to make the combination of wind and sun slightly surreal and very comfortable. The hotel had a selection of dishes at a very reasonable price, but if you want...

My wife and I took a road trip through France during October 2015. We took a Brittany Ferry to Bilbao and then drove into France, stopping initially in the Pyrenees and journeying on to the Dordogne and finally catching a ferry home from Ouistreham. The road trip was a combined gourmet experience and sightseeing trip. All the hotels we stayed...

my girl friend and I had literally no choice but to stay here, when i decided to visit this medieval town during the winter season (running from early november to feb-mar, almost everything closes). luckily the Belvedere was open, and we were in luck, with only 1 room available. the people were very nice, service good, and they also had...

The rooms are okay and have a great view. However, the service was very amateur, the floor not wiped daily even though the bed was done. The welcoming was warm and friendly but there ain't NO WI FI in the rooms. The view is amazing and the restaurant a little bit expensive with quite no choices for vegetarians and vegans.

We stayed for only one night at this excellent 2 star hotel. The view is spectacular and the rooms although not huge are very good for the money one pays. The set 3 course 18 Euro per head meal was brilliant value with all 3 courses being very good. The confit duck was as good as I've tasted anywhere. After...

i knew this would be a simpler hotel, but I actually quite liked it. Super convenient parking out back, incredible views, and my room was light and bright (and clean). A staff member was helpful - showed me the different options for getting down to Rocamadour. The food was good- both dinner and breakfast. 3 or 4 stars - I...

This hotel was situated up on a bluff with great views of the village. The morning we were there we watched some ballooners launch from the valley. The balloon ride was too expensive for my blood. The hotel was better than average. My wife and I had a double bed in a fairly small room. Very clean and quiet. The...
