We just stayed here in October as we were hiking through the Dordogne River Valley. This region is so very beautiful. The staff was quite warm and professional. The hotel is a very good value. The rooms were clean but very basic and a little cold feeling, with quite nice bathrooms, and lovely views. I would recommend it!

A modern hotel with the most fantastic views across the valley from the dining terrace and outdoor pool. A short stroll into the very pretty village of Loubressac. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. On the ground floor we had french doors to a small pricate terrace, which was ideal as we had our dog with us. Breakfast buffet...

We were staying in a gite in Loubressac five minutes walk away from this hotel and went for a meal. The terrace overlooks a magnificent view of the Dordogne including the impressive Castelnau (from which the hotel gets its name). The food and service was good we paid just under €100 for three courses each with wine an aperatif and...

Everything is to love about this place but the view and the quietness are the 2 features we enjoyed the most. Loubressac is a charming little village. GREAT hotel! The surroundings are full of incredible places to visit such at the Gouffre de Padirac, Rocamadoiur and other truly exceptional locations.

We'd been camping in a tent in a heatwave, so decided to spend the last night in a hotel. The location is amazing. Loubressac is one of the prettiest villages in France - and probably one of the very best. The scenery is breath taking and the hotel takes full advantage. There is a pool and tennis court. Our room...

My only criticism about the hotel is that the ceiling fan in the bedroom (No air con) was rather intrusive. The view is quite spectacular. BUT, If you are vegetarian,or heaven forbid, vegan, then this is not a place to stay. I asked if they could provide dinner for vegetarians, was told yes and then managed to find a slice...

We found this hotel by chance after we had visited the “Gouffre de Padirac” and were on our way to the Castle of Castelnau. The hotel is in a little village with fantastic views over the whole valley, and especially the Castle of Castelnau. The hotel staff were friendly and effective, and although we had not made a prior booking,...

Great location - easy walk into Loubressac and fabulous views across the valley. Room very basic - 2 star at most. Arrived back after dinner at 10 pm and had to let ourselves in with key code. No staff anywhere to be seen and we needed to ask for some information, so also tried calling from room but mo reply!...

Stayed 2 nights as part of a walking holiday. Good sized clean rooms and good ensuite. The hero at this hotel is the terrace with views that are amazing. Located about a 10 minute walk out of Loubressac, from the terrace you can look back at this amazing hill top village. Dinner was amazing here although surprisingly the cutlery was...
