Stay: 9th October 2019 - 10th October 2019 (3 occupants) Like: -Hotel is located VERY close to the sanctuary, which makes visiting the bath very convenient. -The staffs are very kind, friendly and helpful. EXAMPLE 1) Receptionist helped us with our luggages when checking in and have them delivered to our room. EXAMPLE 2) Receptionist upgraded our room to a suite during check-in, and extended our check-out time. EXAMPLE 3) Hotel staff had a kettle/water boiler delivered to our room after seeing one of us go to the bar requesting for hot water. Dislike: -None. Our stay was perfect. This is the second time we stayed in the hotel. The last time was 2 years ago, and the service was great as well. It's the reason why we stayed here again this time. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Lourdes.

The hotel is an architectural masterpiece. Baroque exterior and Art Nouveau interior. The rooms have been updated but still retain their traditional elegance. Bathrooms have been fully modernized. I recommend eating in their restaurant. Good traditional French cuisine in a gorgeous dining room. Even an atheist dragged there my his Catholic friend had a good time.

Staying at this beautiful and historic hotel is always a treat. It’s like stepping back in time to La Belle Éopque with attentive, yet discreet, staff, beautiful furnishings and the grandest address in Lourdes. The restaurant serves delicious Italian inspired dishes in the evening and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. Upon request, you can have delicious omelettes with a variety of fillings. Any room I have stayed in has been immaculate, spacious and with large windows that let in lots of light. In the evening, you can hear, and see(depending on your room) the torchlight procession in the sanctuary. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

This hotel is located very close, perhaps the closest of all hotels, to the grotto and basilica. And that is a wonderful reason to stay here. But the rooms are not spacious (indeed they are quite small), the water pressure was low on our visit, which made showering difficult, and the whole place needs an expensive and serious makeover. But, and this is a big but...you are in Lourdes, and you are not here for deluxe hotels, you are here to touch the grotto, take the baths and connect with greater things. At night as the procession begins to form and you stand outside the hotel and the seemingly never ending procession of wheelchairs, all pushed by family or volunteers goes by, you will be glad you stayed here.

I was lucky enough to have the 5th-floor tower room. It had a parlor, a separate bedroom, and a very clean bathroom. So old-school, classic French. I loved it. The staircase with its heavily wooden handrail encouraged me to walk its stairs. Yes, there is an elevator. This property is a minute walk to the sanctuary of Lourdes. So going to the evening procession is easy and staying late is so safe. The food and service were marvelous and not typical American Tourist food. You are right in the heart of the shops, market, and yet it is quiet inside the hotel. Love it!!!
