We stayed one night in this b&b. The rooms were spacious and clean, although one of the rooms was dated and the beds not too comfortable. The room on the first floor (room no 1, I think) was really nice with a magnificent view and a bed with a lovely, comfy mattress. Be aware of the following: No parking on... More

It's an annual 20 year old pilgrimage to this medieval restored town. It's industry is unashamedly purely tourism but that does not distract from the pleasure. The restaurant is under the cover of the town square and the meals are reasonably priced and the portions generous with good service. Local produce and wines simply presented. Today was spoilt a little... More

The hotel is well located at the top of the hill in Cordes Sur Ciel. It is very easy to get to shops and restaurants. The view from our window was outstanding! The room was clean (the first night...they don't make the beds for you if you stay more than one night) and very spacious. However, the room is run... More

We stayed one night in this hotel before a trip in the area. You can't get more central. The room was beautiful and in keeping with the medieval town and buildings. The room was clean and comfortable and very spacious.

Cordes is beautiful but very difficult to drive through and the hotel is basically impossible to get to. Park outside and walk. No one greeted us when we arrived and it took some time to find someone and get situated. The room was very old and musty, but there were two large separate bedrooms which was a nice change on... The tables look nice in the square and them menu reads ok. The initial welcome was warm but that is where it ended. The food was not good, all of it for all 6 people! The cassoulet that I ordered was the worst I have ever come across, microwaved and overcooked with rubbish ingredients. When we asked what appeared to... More

Ate lunch here on 2 October and the meal was pretty good. Randomly chose a bottle of Chateau Lastours rouge which was perfectly drinkable, as it should be for 24 Euros, but was horrified a few days later when I came across the same wine in a local Intermarche for 2.99 Euros. I know wine gets marked up in restaurants... More
