We chanced upon this hotel when looking for somewhere to stay with our dog when driving through France. It's a charming place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large & tastefully decorated, and the restaurant, although relatively expensive, served wonderful food. Our room was facing the road and was a little noisy, but otherwise we found...

We booked this hotel, on a budget, for one night as a stopover after a day driving from the ferry terminal at Dunkirk. It is a beautiful, old-fashioned, traditional, typically French hotel that has been in the same family for generations, and you are made to feel incredibly welcome as soon as you step inside. All the staff are friendly,...

A very nice hotel that was reported to be used by the Germans during the WW2. Has some historic value. Good standard of accommodation. Our room didn't have a shower that was supported from above, But just a hand held one over the bath. We had baths which seemed quite nostalgic at the time. Some rooms had overhead showers. A...

This is the second time we have stayed here but around eleven years since last time! Wonderful after a 6 hour train trip from Cahors. Just to walk across the road from the station , be greated so personally and then enjoy a wonderful meal in the restaurant at the start of a holiday. Would do every time if staying...

A very early hospital appointment the following morning necessitated a hotel stay the night before. We were able to park the car in their small car park and leave it there to have a short walk to the hospital which was very helpful as it is so difficult to park around there. Very friendly receptionist who knew all about our...

‎€90 for a fine double room, and ‎€10 a head for le Petit Dejeuner. One of the nicest and best hotels in our fortnight wandering around France this summer. Highly recommended! Large room, comfortable bed, elegant bathroom - all perfect!

The hotel card says Grand Hotel Terminus. It must indeed have been grand when travelers arrived by the train and walked the few 100m up the hill from the station. The building is imposing, the ceilings high, the woodwork mellow, the greeting is warm; but the interior is in need of much care and attention. It has faded. But the...

We booked hotel Terminus for a 6-day stay in the Cahors area, to explore the region and visit the wine yards. Terminus is quietly located with a 10 minute walk from the center, where most restaurants are. It is close to the railway station, but we didn’t experience any noise from the trains, so that was good. The hotel itself...

When you arrived at the Terminus in Cahors, it is easy to be underwhelmed by the tall building squeezed into a corner. However, do not be put off by the exterior! We opened our room door to find a huge living room with three sofas, a large bathroom with a bath and shower, a toilet and a large bedroom. The...

We stayed two nights. We had the "Garret" room at the top of the hotel, but there is a lift. The room was was quiet but the air con didn't do much and the bathroom didn't have a hair dryer. It did have a broken poorly patched window. The bed was comfy but the room had a low beam that...
