After a hot days walking, the arrival at Chez Pierre was a nice relief. Cool inside and made to instantly feel at home. Great location and very charming host who speaks excellent English. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and breakfast conversations were always stimulating and interesting. Pierre bakes great bread! Our room and bathroom were huge. While the room didn't have lots of charming little decorative touches, that some people expect, we thought it was fine and we enjoyed... Lovely spot & value for money. In the historic part of the town & very close to its centre, the cathedral square. Pierre is welcoming & knowledgeable, & his place is quiet & comfortable. The decor is pleasantly eclectic.

Abbreviated to R Brives on the street signs. Chez Pierre website has good directions. We were utterly delighted by Pierre's warm welcome and our... More

An unassuming yet delightful guesthouse set in the heart of historical Cahors. Pierre, the owner/proprietor is such an enthusiastic, people oriented person with a keen interest in all of his guests many of whom are in actual fact, pilgrims on the Chemin de Santiago de Compostela. Pierre will stamp your card as necessary if you too are a pilgrim along... More
