Approach is from a pedestrian street ( parking quarter a mile away ) and a little hard to find but personal guide from local policeman was welcome. Hotel door is in a seedy ally but, on an upper floor we entered the owners lair/breakfast room. Monsieur is a little unusual, not sure whether scary but certainly different. For example at...

Where to begin? The rooms are fantastic almost surreal and actually given location, size and experience very good value. We stayed in the Suite St Cecile which is huge with its own drawing room, but all the rooms we saw were fabulous in their own 'special' way. There are two rooms with fantastic views built in the tower, but it...

This charming chambre d'hote is quirky and very, very French. The rooms are full of character, stylish and very comfortable. Bertrand, the host is extremely kind. It is in a fantastic location, within 2 mins of the cathedral but is remarkably quiet.

Like other reviewers we spent an hour or so trying to find this place as it is in a pedestrian only zone with no clear instructions/directions to gat there. Finally located the tourist office and they directed us to it on foot. Had to return to a pay for parking lot to get some of our luggage for the overnight...

If you like your travel to be a little different this is the place for you. We were welcomed by the charming owner Bertrand and shown to our delightful suite, the Sainte Cecile, which was both quiet and comfortable. It took a little while to find the various 'facilities' … the slipper bath hides behind a 200 year old tapestry...

Comfortable room. Continental breakfast included. Excellent position for visiting the old sector of Albi. Well situated for restaurants. Rooms are a bit over priced but this is a major tourist town and it is well positioned. Two of the bedrooms are up a very narrow spiral staircase which are not suitable for those who may find walking a problem. The...

When you arrive at this absolute gem right in heart of Albi, you are greeted by the owner - Bertrand Amalric- and feel at home immediately. Depending on the room (ask for one on the second main floor) you will consider yourself staying in a 16th century Chateau fit for kings. Two minutes around the corner is the main square...

This is a unique place to stay if you are visiting Albi, it is situated just off the main Cathedral square in a pedestrian area, very discreetly tucked away behind iron gates (lots of parking nearby if you are coming by car) and key pad entry. There are only 4 rooms and all are delightful. We stayed in the Suite...

We deferred going at Christmas because we could not find any restaurants open! Our summer visit was great. The proprietor welcomed us personally. We were given the very large 'suite' which was decorated in fine style. Decor had been chosen carefully and sympathetically. All good quality. Continental Breakfast was good. Location - super. Right in the centre of everything. Fortunately...
