I would have given this hotel 4 of 5 circles in the WiFi had worked. The location was great. Underground parking available. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helped with advice on restaurants. The room was a bit worn and nothing fancy. It was, however, clean and neat. As I mentioned above the WiFi in a business class... More

This hotel is really great.Although a little dated the service provided and the central location more than make up for the decor. The hosts are very friendly and keen to provide expert recommendations. We had a great time here and loved the personalised breakfast service

Difficult to rate this hotel: Staff were lovely, helpful & friendly. Very good position in Albi, very near underground parking which is discounted as a hotel guest. Room was dated but perfectly adequate, but in truth the walls are thin and you can hear everything the neighbours say, which is it's biggest flaw. Clean, good sized room with a bath/... More

The room was spacious and the bathroom (with bath) large. The room itself was nicely decorated and bright, furnished in a simple but pleasant style, and the room was free of any odours. We particularly liked the comfort of the bed - wide and firm. We were given a warm welcome and attentive service over breakfast. This took the form... More

I spent the Easter Weekend (3 nights) at this hotel. At € 77 a night (published price) without breakfast and local tourist tax, I think it is very much overpriced. The reception is located on the first floor. There is an elevator, but the ground floor can only be reached with a key. The room is very austere. There is... More

We visited Albi by happenstance as it was on our way to the Dordogne. It turned out to be a serendipitous stop. The town is beautiful and this hotel was great. The du Vigan is centrally located in a very appealing renovated commercial area surrounded by restaurants, shops, and an enjoyable pedestrian area. In front of the hotel is a large... More

The hotel is in the heart of Albi and it could not be a better location to visit the old town, the cathedral, the Toulouse-Lautrec museum and the banks of Tarn river. If, like us, you stick to your GPS you will end at the back of the hotel in a narrow and dead end street and will have to... More

We spent 2 nights here right in the centre of Albi. Lovely room looking over the place Vigan. Fab traditional breakfast, with plenty of coffee. Some good recommendations for restaurants. Nothing too much trouble.

This hotel is a bit strange. The colors, small rooms, padded looking wallpaper, and creaky floors are not for everyone. But the staff are extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast is generous, the shower is large enough for two people, and the location can't be beat.

I stayed here for a week, with friends, for a big cycling event. My room was spacious, with air conditioning and a fridge - both essential with temperatures in the late 30s. The breakfast was excellent: varied and plentiful. The receptionist-cum-breakfast waitress remembered exactly what we liked each day! More than that, she was always anticipated our needs - producing... More
