Stayed with family for one night to got to a football match. Hotel is easy to find. About a 10 minute walk from railway station. Reception staff very pleasant. We had an adjoining room on floor 2 which had a double bed & 2 singles. Both had shower rooms, toilets & toiletries. About a 15 minute walk from the Old town... More

One of the things people don't get is the...diversity. You shouldn't evaluate a..."thing" from France on the same terms with the same "thing" from USA, Lebanon or Romania. That being said, for a french (standards) hotel (very small rooms, very small bathrooms, very small..."everything"'s), Escurial is a decent & very clean 3 stars hotel. The staff was very friendly, both... More

It has perfect location near of city centre. few minutes walk to different monuments of Metz. The room was quiet with nice decoration and the bed very comfortable. the breakfast was good there was a... More

Hotel is well situated for seeing Metz and there are some restaurants in the locale, which provide excellent food. However, the experience at the hotel was dreadful. The room was okay but cramped although clean and the bed was comfortable. What made the experience so bad was the breakfast, which was one of the worst that I have ever had... More

It is unfortunate that the reservation made through an online travel agency has generated misunderstanding. For breakfast, the buffet with coffee, tea, milk, chocolate, bread, croissants, brioche, cakes, cereals, jam, cold cuts, fresh fruit, dried fruit is served at will, with one person especially to satisfy the hotel guests . It's difficult to be objective when the staff are so friendly, but I will try. Nylon carpet and polystyrene ceiling tiles don't impress in a small bedroom. I had asked for and been promised a quiet room but this is not what I got, fortunately the noise of the traffic drowns out what you hear through the paper thin walls... More

As a family room offer we had two adjacent rooms with a joint front door. In fact they are two seperate rooms, with is nice for families with older children. Very clean, but small rooms. But....for just 100 euro for four people per night, excluding breakfast, it is a very good deal. I would come again whenever in this area.

Upon checking in, the first impression is nice: you get a colorful room and a comfortable bed, everything looks clean. Location is nice, just a couple of blocks from the train station. However, all that glitters is not gold: there are some major flaws. Bathroom is small, the bed takes so much space that the room to the bathroom couldn't... More

The hotel looked quite nice from the outside. We had two rooms on the third floor here for our family of four. After our first hike up the stairs we couldn't find the room. After trekking round and round, as well as up to the next floor, we opened a random door and found our rooms behind them. They were... More
