We stayed on the 2nd floor of the Annex house. We walked through the door and were beyond impressed. The room was gorgeous! The exposed wood beams on the ceiling, grand fireplace, antique blue velvet chairs, everything was beautiful. The tall French windows that looked directly out to the Metz Cathedral, such a great experience. The room was very large... More

This small family-run hotel is well situated directly across the street from the cathedral so the location is great. The hotel itself is old but rooms and baths have been updated. The reception area is small, cramped and dark. There is no elevator so guests have to carry suitcases up several flights of stairs. Our room was quiet as it... More

Fourth visit here and as usual very good. Great location. Great views. Always stay in the same room number 203. Very good nights sleep. Comfotable bed. Always a flying visit, but well worth it. Car parking is quite simple either in front of the cathedral or there is a underground car park oposite. Noticed a few new bars have strung... More

An old hotel with a lot of charm, our room had an amazing view of the cathedral and I totally enjoyed looking at it, whether it was day or night. It is well located and a short walk from most places, except the Centre Pompidou Metz.

This hotel is very old, but with that said, the rooms were very well done, and modern as much as you would like. The rooms were architecturally neat with structural beams through the two rooms we rented. We stayed in the Annex which had no lifts, so just need to be able to carry up your luggage. The bathroom had... More

We stayed in the annexe building on the third floor and had views of the cathedral. The hotel is very quirky and romantic. The room was of a good size and clean. Some of the staff don't speak English but they tried their best to communicate with us. Breakfast is quite basic with a big range of fruit. There is... More

Next to the Cathedrale, with good parking options. Friendly people, nice, tasteful furnishing, nice big room. The beds were excellent, bathroom good, i only hate it if there is no shower curtain, typically French. The best however, was the breakfast buffet. Absolutely the best and best value for money. All in all, for a 3 star hotel really value for... More

Chose this because of view of cathedral. Nice view, but impossible noise. Road in front is major morning artery; noise starts about 0630. OK breakfast. On the other hand the young staff are very helpful and most pleasant. Try a back room.

Charming boutique hotel , situated next to the Cathedral. Room decoration is old style but functional. No elevators. We had a nice quiet room on an inner court. Bathroom small ( shower ) but very functional. Price was 109 Euros. ( including a nice breakfast for two ). A good restaurant is connected to the hotel. One of the receptionist is... More

Very centrally located, lovely historic building absolutely oozing character. We had a large room overlooking the cathedral. The decor and furniture was very much in keeping with the age of the property. There was a lovely little terrace centrally located on the first floor, excellent for relaxing. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we required for... More
