What a jewel! Perfect location for strolls in the old town, charming rooms (some with stunning views of the cathedral), peaceful breakfast room with a great breakfast selection and parking just across from the hotel in a big public garage. Last but not least: the people that run the place are super nice and helpful, although not much English is...

We stopped in Metz for only one night, but the room made our stay a highlight of the trip! We loved the old charm of the hotel (with the modern bathroom) and were awed by the view of the cathedral opposite. By all means, take a room on the cathedral side; it is well worth the extra Euros, especially at night...

We stayed there for one night on our way to Italy. We asked for a room with a view of the Cathedral, we arrived after dinner and our room was in the "Annexe", which is basically a building next door to the main hotel. It felt like going back it time, the room had incredible original features (old creaking wood...

An older hotel, run by a family, with large rooms and excellent views across to the Cathedral from the front side of the hotel and annex. Bed comfortable with a mix of older furnishings that are comfortable. Modern bathroom but with a hand held shower in a tub in our room but the bathroom was actually large. Stayed in the...

We only stayed one night on our way to the south of Germany but so glad we booked this hotel. Firstly it was easy to find as you head straight for the Cathedral. It is perfectly located. The (pay ) car park is directly opposite the hotel and restaurants all along the same street. Metz is stunning and streams character...

We stayed in 2 Double Cathédrale Confort (208) in August 2014. The hotel is next to the Cathedral. Most rooms have a beautiful view. You leave the car in a public parking nearby. Pick up the keys for the rooms at the reception in the main building. And walk 50 meters to get to your part of the hotel. There...

This hotel looks out over the stunning Cathedral in Metz. It has a wonderful character, family run with each room individually decorated with traditional furniture and fabrics. We had two rooms on the third floor. They were really helpful in storing our bikes in the back of their restaurant.

Years ago I came here for the first time. Since then, I've been coming back. It's not new. It's unpredictable. It's not perfect. That's what it makes perfect. Rooms are all different, and make you feel in France in 1923. Although you hear the street, view on cathedral is superb. When hot, ask for a room with airco. Anyhow, feel...

We stayed on the 2nd floor of the Annex house. We walked through the door and were beyond impressed. The room was gorgeous! The exposed wood beams on the ceiling, grand fireplace, antique blue velvet chairs, everything was beautiful. The tall French windows that looked directly out to the Metz Cathedral, such a great experience. The room was very large...

This small family-run hotel is well situated directly across the street from the cathedral so the location is great. The hotel itself is old but rooms and baths have been updated. The reception area is small, cramped and dark. There is no elevator so guests have to carry suitcases up several flights of stairs. Our room was quiet as it...
