Friendly and helpful staff. Large room with separate area with table and chairs. Plenty of plugs and adequate Internet speed. Room was a little gloomy after dark because no central light fitting but plenty of lamps. You would need opera glasses to watch TV from bed but we don't tend to watch hotel TV so didn't bother us. RIght in... More

This hotel was probably beautiful years ago - but nothing seems to have been done since. The hotel is in great need of refurbishing - to the point that the wall papers are loose and hanging down the walls. The location is good, central - but the rooms are not great...

Entirely agree with the reviews of others who have found this hotel to be misrepresented in the pictures on line. It is dark, dreary and smelly. It has the sad demeanour of a place that has most certainly had better times. The disused swimming pool is filthy and full of water and litter. The car park is weird, like an... More

Found the hotel easily, parking was downstairs in the basement. The hotel is located in what would seem to be the old derelict side of the center. Check-in was easy as we had already booked and paid for the room via hotel bookings website. We were given a key and directed to the 3rd floor. The walls are covered with... More

We stayed for 2 nights, wanting to see Metz, which over the years we have driven past. Hotel backs into a basin that goes into the Mosel River. Has a parking garage, scary, very steep but we parked less than a block away, and this is in the old town. Room for 2 142 E, 4 breakfasts was 50 E,... More

We stopped here on the way back to Calais to break up our journey. We wanted a hotel with parking, a cheap clean double room with ensuite and wifi. The lady at the front desk initially wanted to charge us 80 euros for the room but when we explained we had seen the price lower online - she agreed it... More

This hotel was selected due to the presence of a swimmingpool and free parking. But the swimmingpool was non existing and the parking was located in a gloomy and not very trustful parking house with hardly any light and squaders living down there. Strange place - cannot be recommended!

Couldn't have been more central.Car park a little hard to find. Staff polite and spoke good English. Reasonably priced so can forgive the smell! In the middle of restaurant and theatre land. Recommended.

This could be the most charming hotel but desperately updating. We had a wonderful room on the first floor overlooking a bridge and the church but walking to the room were lights with heat marks running up the wall. I checked that in case of fire I could escape out the window. The pool was " being repaired" and in... More
