A litany of disasters. Wifi is very poor and did not work in my room. I was moved to another room but again wi Fi did not work so I was moved back. Then I was locked out of my room and had to wait for a new key. The night manager found all this a laugh I did not....

Grand Hotel is located in the absolute center of the city in the pedestrian area. Nice and quiet despite of the location, staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend to park your car in one of parking garages close to the hotel, Cathedral or Republic, it a short walk from any of them. In the area you find a lot...

Ideally situated for the traveller using public transport. If travelling by car determine where you can park and bear in mind that the hotel is in a pedestrainised area. Only breakfast is available here and is a more than satisfactory continental buffet. There are very many good restaurants and bars within a few 100m of the hotel. The river and...

This hotel is in the ideal location for exploring Metz. Two minutes walk to the stunning cathedral and less to the St Jaques Square with many bars and restaurants. Check in was very quick, efficient and friendly. Price was reasonable for two nights stay. Room was very clean. This is not luxury but for price and location, you can't go...

Very nice hotel in the center of town, near numerous places to visit. Charming and friendly reception, with suggestions as to where to go. The room we stayed in had been recently nicely redone and it was clean. Gave out on pedestrian street below. The entrance also looked clean and had flowers and plants - very nice. The bathroom was...

Spent one night here on the way back from Austria, overnight stay with breakfast. Small rooms with curious sloping floors to the point where things rolled off the bed side tables. Deceptively large being down a short entrance corridor & built around a central area which has been converted into the breakfast resteraunt . No evening meal available but not...

The two stars are for the location and the free wifi. We stayed here as part of a coach party. Under no other circumstances would we have considered it. The room was very small with a dirty carpet which I would not walk on with bare feet. The bathroom was in a cupboard with a hand held shower attachment. There...

Hotel is very centrally located just around the corner from the cathedral, the Saturday market and a square full of restaurants. Our room was small but adequate for one night, Breakfast varied and the breakfast room was adequate for the size of our coach party.
