Wonderful hotel with a great location. Many rooms have recently been modernized and remodeled. The breakfast room is lovely and the food provided was more the adequate. Our room was on the ground floor. There is a lovely courtyard. The staff was helpful. Parking was limited to a first come basis on the street but there was a parking garage...

Hotel de Guise is very close to all Nancy's amazing historic sites. It is, itself, a beautiful old building on a narrow street, but parking is easily available nearby. Rooms are clean, renovated and pleasant. Breakfast is good and staff are extremely helpful. They even mailed on my daughter's lost cuddly toy when she left it behind, to her great...

We only stayed one night, but the room we had was recently upgraded to modern standards. It wasn't very big, and on that hot day, air conditioning would have been nice-but it wasn't to be The staff we very friendly and helpful, but not all were bilingual, so there were a few language difficulties The breakfasts were abundant (extra cost)...

The hotel is located in a quiet street in the 'Old City', within walking distance of most of Nancy's tourist attractions. It is a historic building, nicely furnished. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were not very large, but well-maintained and spotlessly clean. One minor disadvantage: my room was at the very end of the corridor,...

We booked this hotel online a mere few hours before getting there. Reasonable value for money, especially as we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded from a classic room to a minisuite. The style is a bit dated, and as this is an old hotel with wooden floors the floorboards creak a bit. Regardless, the noise...

We arrived very late 11.30pm but the night manager was helpful on the phone and was there to meet us. Only stayed one night as we were on the way home from Italy. The breakfast was fantastic and the service fantastic. The whole atmosphere is charming and delightful and we would have loved to have stayed longer. There are marble...

I stayed for one night on a stopover driving from Switzerland to UK. My room (including breakfast) booked online cost 59 euros. The hotel is an elegant townhouse on a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from Place Stanislas. The common parts of the hotel are quite grand - the staircase in particular is magnificent. My small room was more...

I travel to Nancy for business routinely, so this year, when we planned a vacation in France, my wife wanted to see the areas I talk so highly about. Nancy is a wonderful small city and was the perfect stop to rest and recharge after several days in Paris. The city is beautiful and the people are friendly and welcoming....

The staff are friendly and it's steps from the Vieille Ville of Nancy. The breakfast room is a beautiful restored 17th century room, with freshly painted gold fleur-de-lys on the ceiling. My Nancy friends all told me that I chose a great hotel and I agree! The only complaint I had was that the Wifi was incredibly slow. They told...

We - family of 4 with two teenage daughters - stayed in the Hotel de Guise for one night. We had booked a family room, which was basic and rather small, as we expected from the description. The hotel, which is situated in an old palace, is filled with quirky details, there are arm chairs and couches in the corridors,...
