Arrived late in the afternoon, reception were welcoming though the pool looked closed. The touring pitches are all on a slope, chocks required, if you found a flat pitch you were lucky! The toilet/shower facilities were clearly dated, it was almost impossible for me to actually pull down my trousers to sit on a toilet (I am 6'4") as there...

Lady on desk was very nice & helpful, put our tent & were dying to see the Chateau, well the review was right, stunning. We booked a table in the restaurant & had a fabulous cooked meal, staff were all very welcoming & we totally enjoyed our stay. Deer park was a lovely add on, we did not use many...

Maybe one day this was an exceptional site but sadly no more, very friendly welcome handy for Limoge close to the motorway, but lacks facilities. The advertised tennis court has more weeds than my garden, swimming pool is enjoyable as is the restaurant, but it's premium rates and not premium facilities.

A beautiful setting and reasonably sized pitches. The failities are poor, very smelly and the dishwashing sinks were cracked and full of debris, the showers need refurbishing and the unisex toilels had a urinal and chemical toilet in it. The washing machines were 7.5 euros as was the powder for them. Limited facilities for hand washing we were told to...

A private park at this Castels site, a 9th Century castle, a deer park, ancient trees (helpfully labelled), delightful well maintained topiary and a warm welcome from everyone including the cheerful gardeners. What more do you want? Sanitary facilities are good if a little quaint. Excellent walks by the lake and round the castle. A well stocked bar, daily bread...

The setting of the campsite is good with large pitches and it is near the motorway. However it is far too overpriced for what it provides. Most campsites in France vary from around 20-30 euros. The more expensive the further south. We paid 45 euros to stay one night. This was made all the more annoying as we reserved our...

A lovely site close to the motorway. We stayed for 3 nights on our way back from the south, with the intention of seeing something of the region. We had a lovely welcome from an English lady in reception, and the owner of the campsite was always present throughout our stay. On first impression, he was a little grumpy, but...

nice big pitches, loads of room to orientate your rig to where you want to be, the grounds of the Chateau are available to 'wander' , fantastic welcome. The shower block is old but completely functional, has loads of character. Would definitely use again.

This is a lovely campsite in an idyllic setting. We only stayed 3 nights and decided to move on to better weather. The staff were very pleasant and polite and English is spoken. The pitches are large, level and grass and mostly separated by hedges and many with trees if you want shade. Most pitches have 10A electricity supply and...

Nice campsite with large pitches. Restaurant offered good value for money and staff were great fun. Pool was quite big, clean with plenty of loungers around it. Showers were cold in the ladies but hot in the men's area!? Facilities were clean.
