After spending half an hour and numerous phone calls to the owner, eventually found this wonderful Chateau. Off the main N21/D74 road, a long drive up to Chateau. Beware potholes! Wonderful sight with turrets. Rooms full of character. Banister and floors beautifully restored. Comfortable bed and cushions. Bathroom modern and fully functional with good shower cubicle if a little smaller... More

We wanted to experience staying in a chateau whilst on France and we weren't disappointed. It's important to set and manage expectations - from the start we knew that it wasn't going to be a luxurious, modern 5 star hotel. And that was perfectly fine! What you have is a beautiful, quaint, charming chateau with full of history and character.... More

First, let's just say it was a little tricky to find. After a long day and the frustration with navigation, we arrived to meet a very kind and personable owner, Phillippe, who spoke english perfectly. The initial impression was not great (don't stop reading), it seemed a little worn and old, however, then you walk in to see 2 very... More

It makes you appreciate staying in these old places, they are so full of history and character. We arrived on a very hot day and appreciated a swim in the pool and a beer. It's a shame more people don't come here, it's quiet, the rooms are spacious, the owners are very friendly and speak english. It's only a few... More

We stayed for 1 night but could shave stayed longer to explore the area with our dogs. Rooms are clean and the bed was comfy, you enter the chateau and it's like stepping back a century antiques fill the place, it's a real charm to stay here and worth every penny. Breakfast was simple but typical French , the host... More

We felt like princesses arriving at a castle and stayed that way our entire stay. The rooms are stunning, the family live here and it feels like a wonderful home. The breakfast was fabulous and our hosts were wonderful. A truly great place to stay close to Limoge but in the country with a fitting outlook. It was hard to... More

We stayed in this wonderful Chateau along with our family from Australia. We received a very warm welcome from our host Monsieur Selle. Our rooms were amazing with beautiful views from every window with a wonderful clean and modern bathroom. Our breakfast table looked so pretty as we all came into the dining room. Monsieur Selle looked after us throughout... More

We loved our night here. We thought there must have been something wrong with it - the price and photos looked great online, but it was cheap and we were able to book quite late in peak season. Our room was at the top with a bathroom in the tower. Having stayed in family-owned chateaux before, we knew not to... More

A true French chateau! My friend and I turned up unannounced at 8pm in the evening, in the vain hope of finding a room for the night. Our hostess welcomed us in and showed us straight up to the Hunt Room, a delightfully furnished twin room, with ensuite bathroom. The beds were comfortable, the chateau itself was amazing - I... We arrived here a little early on the basis that we could check in from 2.00 p.m. but the room wasn't ready. The owner did not appear overjoyed to see us. He gave us a quick look around but he was quite distracted and seemed to have other things on his mind. It was not a major problem for us... More
