We booked this hotel when traveling from Spain back to Belgium. We used to stay at Novotel Limoges but it was quite pricey so we found Hotel du Golf as alternative. We were not disappointed. The appearance of the hotel is outdated but the rooms were recently renovated. It was spacious enough for the 4 us. The only comment I...

Staying there whilst partner had a transplant, I was not in a very appeased mood, but the excellent facilities, the warm welcome and very pleasant staff made it all a great deal easier . The rooms are spotlessly clean, the breakfast good and plenty full, and the friendly staff were unobtrusive but caring.

The hotel is easy to find and well-situated for the A20 motorway. Friendly receptionist who politely asked for payment in advance (which was unexpected) as there were staff shortages due to the holiday season! Ground-floor room which was fairly standard for a hotel chain except that en-suite toilet was separate from en-suite shower - consequently the smallest room was very...

For the price, we really expected more. "Toiletries" consisted of one square inch of soap. There was no bath mat, no hair dryer, a jug and one small sachet of coffee but no cups so don't know how we were expected to drink the coffee. There was noise in the corridor and a squeaking bathroom door that put nerves on...

First class staff, really efficient, helpful and friendly. Well located, near the highway, easy to find and also adequately away. Nice and modern atmosphere; convenient restaurant: Buffalo Grill (there pronounced "Boo-fahlo") also with great staff and ample opening schedule. BUT Walls are paper-thin, one can almost follow next room's TV show (or whatever goes on, given the case). Doors to...

After a long day of driving we were met by a lovely lady in Reception. She was very helpful although her English and our French were both fairly limited. This did not hinder things too much and it did not take long to be shown to our room. The room was very large with a huge bed and bathroom. Dining...

We stayed here for 1 night to break the long journey down south. The hotel is a mile or so hilly walk from the town centre but very well located for the motorway & also has good parking. It's attached to a Buffalo Grill & "designed" to match. In fact the Architect either won an award or was taken out &...

The hotel is positioned south east of Limoges which is about 3 miles walk into town. We stayed here for 2 nights so we could visit Oradour sur Glane before travelling to Tours. then we returned for 1 night in order to fly back to England from Limoges airport. The room(s) were basic but the beds were comfortable and there...

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and the family room was huge and so comfortable. It is right next door a Buffalo Grill which is where we had dinner. It makes a great overnight stop on our way to Spain & will definitely stay here again.
